This is my comfort show! Anytime I'm sick or feeling low I can always watch this over and over and always smile 🤜❤️🤛
I love the airport scene with Cassandra sniggering at Rodney for having to pretend to be a teenage child with Del playing the father, then it suddenly hits her.
"WHO THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO BE!!!"
Then Cassandra starts to enjoy it: "Don't get any ketchup down your shirt"
Damn! Nicholas Lyndhurst did a brilliant job playing Rodney’s rages, that’s for sure! 😄😄😄👍
“YOU GIT!”
Greatest show ever made
No
@@John-tz2tx yes John, yes.
Yes 😊
“Alright, alright!”
Damn! David Jason’s voice changed for a second there! 😂😂😂😂
Even though people tend to see Del as the lead character, Rodney Charlton Trotter was every bit his equal to the success and magic of the show.
I think you mean Dave Charlton Trotter.
The chemistry between all the characters is what makes the show in my opinion. Every interaction and throw away line is just pure gold
Especially realizing that he was only 19 years old.
@maryperez1235 it's crazy. I did not know this. I always saw this show on telly as a kid in the 00s, but I never understood why it's on. One day in 2011 as a 19 year old myself, I thought I'd sit & watch it. My first episode was when they went on holiday & Rodney is meant to be a 14 year teen & the guy at the airport turns around to look down, but looks up instead 😂. It was hilarious. I told my friend to give me the whole DVD box set. I binged watch all episodes on my Ps2 back then. This show is a capsule. Absolutely epic. I'm in my early 30s now & it gets even better as I understand the humour even more.
They were all good, but these interchanges between Rodney and Del were perfection.
Hats off to Trig, Boycie and all the others who entertained us, I enjoy it more now than then.
It was funny seeing Del stir his tea with his cigar 😂
Played it so well as he was so nervous about Rodney finding out 😂
Nicholas Lyndhurst is a marvellous actor he should get a knighthood for service for acting
What much like Leer Smarmer being given one for being a reet twat .
"Groovy" the Spanish episode is so underated when it comes to the famous clips. The airport scene is absolute genius!
You are referring to the Only Fools and Horses episode called The Unlucky Winner Is...
A Bunch Of Wallys was one of the best bands of the 80s.
LOL. That 1st gem ("them bunch of wally's") classic ❤
5 Times Rodney Lost His Cool | Only Fools and Horses | BBC Comedy Greats 1833pm 12.7.22 "they aint told him yet, then....?"
Oh man one never tires of this classic gem. Over the years there have been numerous classics. One of my favourite episodes is an early one called Friday the 14th. Axe murderer, salmon poaching. 🤣🤣
Totally agree that is an early favourite of mine too!
David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst = Best Duo ❤
That first shot of the telly, you don't often see that wall of the flat
Best comedy sitcom bar none.
The way Del swings his head at 5:35 is somehow really funny and is the perfect reaction of a drunk person
When they filmed "A bunch of Wallys" for TOTP it was whilst a genuine TOTP was being recorded and I think it was Spandau Ballet that thought they were a real group and they were worried they'd get beaten to No 1.
🤣👏🏼 You couldn't make it up 🤣
@@DeeDerry you could, he just did🤣
These are hilarious. I especially love "Where did that snake come from!!!!"
However, I think his best meltdown was as serious as they come when Del is leaving for Australia. It feels so real and so heartbreaking. Brilliant performances and writing
10:51 LMAO!
“Who’s the tart?”
This alone makes the 80s and 90s a golden era in TV, along with all the others like bottom etc
_Only Fools and Horses_ and _The Simpsons_ were some of the best shows to watch in the 90s.
@@slopernafti902 in their era's there was so many decent programmes like Harry Enfield and chums, game on, gimme gimme and so many more
I was laughing for about a week after the Sanish Holiday episode!
best episode ever lol
You mean Spanish
"Boys will be boys by a bunch of wally's". It's actually a catchy tune. I wonder if John Sullivan wrote it, I think he wrote the theme tune to 'OFAH'.
😯 didn't know that✌
JS sings the theme to OFAH. Sounds like Rodney tbf.. Aye, that 'Band's track's proper.👍 (Lead singer looks familiar!?)
I think it should have been released as a single
@@nickycotton6137 he was in the Porridge film as rudge with Ronnie B and some other stuff, can't remember off hand
@@petebennett3733 His name is Daniel Peacock.
"Did you see anything in it you liked?"
One of my favourite Scenes from 4:50 to 7:30😂😂😂.
We know it was a mistake and misunderstanding when he punched Stephen but the character was such a patronising tosser we all applauded!
19:39 "I fell off"
I love this ❤️
Bloody hell! They showed part of the wall behind the TVs
And where did that snake come from?!
Dunno no one knows where it went either 🤣🤣
You certainly notice uncle because you stood on a chair to notice and at one point he almost knocked you off. 😂.
Just love it!
Best comedy
Very nice 😅
Walking her all that way to the car...
3:21 😂
Who's the tart?
The jolly boys putting down to Margate. The halfway house pub they stop at has been converted into flats.
❤️
Raymond Fletch in good form
Del always screwed Rodney over, didn’t he? No wonder Rodders was embarrassed by him, most of the time.
bunch of wallys singer is Daniel Peacock, real son of Trigger.
Daniel Peacock's father is the guy from 'Vicar Of Dibley' who stutters. I know the actor who plays Trigger is in that as well, but it's not him.
@@dorkarama3135 Jim Trott :)
@@dorkarama3135I stand corrected
@@maryhinge128 Like a man in orthopaedic shoes....boom, boom.
@@dorkarama3135 I can see it actually he looks like him lol
I have bought number of cases and glass protector and found out that the diamond glass protector failed
if you dont laugh .....you aint breathing
Love trigger alright Dave
How many tellies did the Trotters have?
2 in total as in all episodes The Trotters watch both at the same time
Rodney's a southpaw
Decent left hook eh
That song was the epitome of the era. Shite
Hyr
I will say that in Only Fools and Horses Rodney has a right temper in him
