I admire your being true to yourself and not pretending you are happy with something that is not to your standards (shame on you Bobby! haaa). The second go-around looks so much better. One thing I think could really make a fun difference would be simply changing the knobs to something fun and funky...like adding earrings to complete a look.

I also like that you are so sincere in your videos.
You do a fantastic job showing the process of the DIY projects and your honesty and mistakes make it enjoyable and believable.
Overcoming obstacles is a big part of the design process so keep working those problem solving muscles.

    Dear Debi,
I am saying it straight from the heart when I say GIRL YOU CAN NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG! You have a true gift. Remember it is not the gift that makes you see your item and think "something is not right, I just do not like it". It is your heart saying that because of the respect you have for your gift and talents. You are a true talent that gives hope to so many that desperately want to create. The fact that you would not allow the video to show you were successful when you did not feel or believe this, is why you are so genuine and loved by all. Keep up the good work! Btw I can say this because I know what I am talking about... I am 48 years old!!! Lol have a great creative day!

I stumbled upon your youtube via pinterest last night and I can't remembered when I enjoyed myself so much. What a blessing you are girl! Your child like joy and creativity are like medicine to the soul. I'll be watching EVERY video you made. I started from the beginning last night. AMAZING! You missed it HGTV! ;) Trying to figure out now about "your" paint vs. annie sloan, ce ce, etc. Thank you for putting yourself out there and for sharing all your creativity with all the rest of us! Oh, and I liked the 2nd one best! BUT, my favorite thing about the entire project is your honesty. Hearing you and Bobby chat up your frustration and laughing at your "perfectionism" was the best! Seriously! I think you were a Godsend for me. :)

Deb I love watching your videos and I feel for you. I am always hard on myself and that’s why I don’t do videos. I feel like they won’t be good enough and I always find fault in myself. Thanks for the shout out Debi! You're too funny ~ I felt your frustration; been there many times. Looks like your black is highly pigmented, much like the Peacock blue I used on my buffet. Because the Peacock is so highly pigmented, I diluted it a ton almost to the point of a wash. As thin as it was, it still completely concealed all the vibrant colors underneath but made distressing a bit easier. It's definitely something I fussed with. I'm sure I had more than one moment when I was ready to roll it out into the parking lot too but it eventually all worked out. Thanks again! Shelly

I haven’t sealed it and noticed I can literally soak and wash the paint off but that a lot of paint but I not sure if I can just start over on top of it and take a chance of the paint becoming muddy as I get started. *Should I seal it and start over, does it stick to Big Top or Wax? *Start right on top of the DIY paint I dont like? *Wash it all off? BTW - My Armoire front has 2 doors, each with a large Oval latice / wicker insert, this is where I’m having a hard time (I dont care for the look) I’m temped to make/have a mirror’s cut and put directly over.
