love that you flip that brush back and forth and there is your uncovered couch about a foot away.
Thank you for the way you go into detail. I’ve watched so many videos and no one shares as well as you. I love your work.
I am so addicted to your videos, I subscribed and now I am watching all your older videos. Love the chest of drawers / desk. I learn so much from watching your videos, super happy.
Came out Great! I like the way the paint sounds slouching as it goes on bench, a calming sound 💤
Best demonstration for the EXACT look I desire! Thank you so much! 💙
Thank you for sharing. Love the crackle finish with the distress.
Thank you for the short but very informative explanation on how you do this. It came out beautifully!
That’s beautiful! I bought a very primitive looking, dark wash stand today and this is exactly the color and look I was thinking about. Thank you so much for the demo.
I love your show, you and your husband are so humble and work well together God bless you both. BTW, I love your channel
Wow !! This video came up just when I was trying to decide what I was going to do with a 2/3 round table. Great idea. Thanks
I love how they came out! Thank you for explaining the process so well.
What colors would you use for an off-white final look?
Love the outcome of this project..
Watching this video was mesmerizing. Thanks for the knowledge.

I really love the final result! Sounds and looks like a durable finish...excited to try this technique!
+Karen Weber thanks!!
Thank you, Jamie! You're so talented. I love how you get right to the point and don't drag your videos out! Sometimes, people tend to drag on and on and I lose interest. Your projects are cool. You've inspired me to get started on my projects!
Yay! Fair warning. Some of our Live videos go long but we do a lot of real time q and a and then publish them later so more people can watch. 🙂
That turned out way cool.
Love those colors together I would have never though of that combo thank you for sharing !
I live in Avery old home and my doors naturally look that way. Should I sand or just paint?
If they are already chippy and crackled I might just leave them. If you’re trying to contain the chippy paint just seal them.
Over 1 million views!! Congratulations Jami & Zeb!! Love everything you do!!
love how this turned out and how you broke it down to be really easy... Can't wait to try it on a dresser I've been wanting to paint!! Awesome job :)

the bench is great, it looks like an old original piece.
👍 looks great Jami! Takes courage to be sanding in your house. Something I won't do, but is one of my idiosyncrasies! Your other furniture behind looks nice too! I'll have to watch your very chipping varied colored video on that particular piece. Thanks and enjoy your weekend! 😊
Love the bench! Can’t wait to try the milk paint I ordered from y’all on a project piece! Keep up the helpful videos!

❤️❤️😊
Thank you for sharing. Great video :)
Love the color! It’s beautiful!
Beautiful love your work!
Thanks!
I love this! I have a lot of furniture that I would like flip! And I love that farm house or French country look!
Great tips!!
OMG, I love this idea! When we bought our 1800 farm house we found a bureau in the barn that was sooooo alligator crackled. We had a hard time stripping it so I finally found out that I could just chalk paint it and I am so proud of it now. Had I known back then that was the desired finish I would have saved my husband and myself so much trouble. You two are so inspring! I cannot waint until spring when I can get out into our converted chicken coop to work on some furniture projects that you gave me inspiration for. Chicken coop turned party house turned workshop! Works for me. Gotta get it heated, though..lol.
+bam fron it will be a great workspace!!
That looks really nice .
Thanks!
1st off-Your tone and delivery are great! Upbeat w/o being yell-y. And then of course the bench came out amazing! Crazy to see what you started from.
Thanks!

OMGIDDYOD flashback 🥰 this is one of the first videos I found of this channel and the clock mirror sealed the deal and I've never looked back!
It's amazing to see y'all and how much your life has changed from then to now but what has stayed is your attention to detail and quality never waivers which is WHY y'all now have a big ol church for the store y'all now have because y'all outgrew the other one!
So I just wanted to leave this here and even though I know you won't see it, the happy thoughts are still there 🤗🙏🏻 4 ✌🏼 AlWaYs
Love!
Beautiful crackle💖💖💖
Thanks!
Im gonna make a table out of an old door and that painting technique looks so pretty

czcams.com/video/yruso7J514o/video.html
Awesome, thank you!! The other piece is beautiful as well!!
so cool!!!!!
GREAT!!!
LOVE!!
Thanks!
Gooooooorgeous 😍
Omg!!! This technique is amazing. My furniture was laminate not real wood at all. But I added in the extra bond and holy moly my cabinet turned out amazing. Thank you for all the tips and tricks. Wish I could post a photo. Items I bought: extra bond; Sweet pickins Milk paint color: Red Wagon; I used a dark brown paint for the base color; and the dark oil wax instead of black. Thank you Jami Ray
That’s awesome! We have a Facebook group so people can share pictures of projects with us. If you join be sure to answer the group questions and tag us in your post so we see it. 😊❤️
Love the idea of turning the dresser into a desk. Zep, even though you didn't do that, can you show us how to do something like that? Thanks !!
I would recommend using a clear coat on top of the black so when you sand off the green it will minimize going all the way down to the bare wood. Looks awesome!!
I dont mind going down to bare wood, looks even better for me. benches like ogres have layers.
Very nice😍
AWESOME VIDEO, guys! LOVE the color, and I've never tried milk paint before, but it looks like now is the time because that's the exact finish I want on a project I'm working on.
I just scored 21 150 year old antique doors in beautiful condition from a house that was built just before 1870, and I'm thinking about doing a CZcams video series called "21 Doors" that will be all about how I upcycle each of them. My first project will be a coffee bar, and I want to finish it just like you did that bench, but with a chalkboard area on the upper panel. Thanks again for all the information and inspiration. I'll keep you posted as to how I make out with all those doors! ヅ
That sounds awesome! If you get the series going we want to watch it!
Thanks, guys... I'll definitely keep you in the loop. BTW - Just picked up the doors and I made a happy mistake. The house they came from wasn't built in 1870. It was built in 1807 (my lysdexia kicking in again ヅ ), so they're even older than I thought. Lots of cool hardware on 'em too! >> cast iron latches, crystal knobs, and one of the doors is a dutch door. Can't wait to get crackin'!
@@JamiRayVintage ,I haven't used the milk paint either but I'm going to start.I absolutely love the way the bench looks.
@@ScottGiorgini hi!! 👋🏻 I was just curious if you ever did any projects with those antique doors? I’d say you left me hanging for four years but I just saw this lol 😆 What an incredible find! I’m envious!
