You're supposed to use the side styrofoam pieces as stabilisers, then remove the central styrofoam piece at the bottom and fit the stand while the TV is standing vertically.

Ooof a metal stand instead of the cheap arsed plastic one on the 95B LOL. looks good. Just hope they don't break this one like they did on us with the 95B. My C2 keeping me happy atm so I'll wait see how this goes and the G3 over the next few months. Ty as always for the vids

Please do speakers test when tv is on the wall,my s95b sound amazing but QN95A has very bad sound on the wall,on the stand was great,thanks✌️

Hey Max excellent video first I absolutely love the R11s they look gorgeous in your setup. I have to ask though I'm also looking at getting a new TV this year, but I was more so looking at getting the LG G3 instead what made you decide to go with the S95C?
Thank you for the kind words 🙏🏾 I’m only reviewing the Samsung S95C. I plan on getting an LG G3 once it’s released. With that being said, I would wait until the reviews come in for the LG G3 before making a decision. I heard a lot of great things about the G3 😁
7:24 I was lifting the mere 65 inch model yesterday and after the struggle I had there... was actually pretty interested to see someone else handle it.

I have since exchanged it for an LG g2 77 inches for 3299. I was not comfortable paying almost 5000 for a tv. 😳

Would I be correct in saying the long one connect cable included is 2.5m. If I'm this is the case, then it would once again be woefully inadequate again. And the 5m cables are another $100
Good video. I'm still thinking on this set. I have the Samsung S95B on initial firmware. I would like to see comparison videos.
Also if you can let me know if you think s95c is better than s95b.

For the S95C, I would have everything connected to the TV and use the HDMI/eARC to connect to my AVR Receiver to get sound from my speakers.

This might be a little challenging, but from the top of the TV, where you see the Vesa Mount holes to the top of the TV is 12.5. From side to side is 25. The holes at the bottom of the TV are 10.3. Hopefully, this helps. Sorry, it took a while to respond.

Nice vid max… I have my 2ND! 900b have terrible backlighting bars with both.. magnolia still Gona let me switch out when I want… should I get this.. should I wait for of g3? I am strictly gaming everyday too by the way
I would wait for the G3 before you make that decision.

Hi Max, congrats on the new tv!!! Btw, have you watched caleb's new video regarding to the new Sony tv lineup? They are not updating the X95K , but they relabeled it as X93L instead. That's a good news for the current X95K owners like us😛They did that to the 85" X900H back then by replacing it with the X91J which was the exact same tv. For the top dog, instead of having a Z9L to replace the Z9K, they are releasing a superb 4K X95L instead. I think Sony see that most people don't see the point of having a 8k tv, so they are releasing a top tier 4k tv instead. I think it was a good move. However, we never know if they may release a 8k tv later in the year though.

I can't wait to see the X95L in 85". It's suppose to be 200% brighter than the fantastic X95K and if it is, I will probably buy it over the LG G3 and the Samsung S95C. I've seen the S95C and wasn't impressed.

My default settings for the RS232C on the Sony A90J are Via HDMI port.

I have to keep testing. As of right now, I would hold off until I do my comparison video. I will say this, the A90J has better detail and depth than the S95C. However, the S95C is much brighter than the A90J and has more gaming features.

Me too. It's gonna be between the G3 and the S95C but I'm really gonna hold out till I see the Sony X95L 85" that is suppose to blow both of these TVs away. It should be out in the next couple of months.
Me too. I've seen tons of reviews on the G3 and most people like the G3 a pinch better. The G3 has more customization modes. Too bad the 83" G3 won't have the MLA because it would be in the mix also. And don't forget about the new Sony X95L 85' that is gonna be unbelievable!

Bring on the S90C, way cheaper and the same thing as this TV. Less the one connect box and less sound performance.
I don't think It'll have the same thicker build as this though or the audio/speakers on back , It's going to be thin and flimsy like last years S95B.
@@fawkkyutuu8851 The S90C is thinner. And once on the wall it doesn't matter if it's flimsy. It's stays rigid. Its only flimsy if someone is holding onto it which doesn't make sense.
I payed the difference since the design of the tv matter a lot to me definitely a lot more premium than the S95B

Its actually thicker than my S95B.
Larger TVs need to be thicker their smaller counterparts for structural integrity. Why is that such a surprise?
@@gbej1 its not a surprise, im actually proud of how advanced slim îs my S95B i love It too much, i thought that "the old generation" slimness would be kept on as a standard but apparently its not the case.

For right now, Samsung will release smaller sizes in the future.
The will release the s90c in smaller sizes. The s95c will focus on 77" and up.

Honestly from what I can tell at 11:01 it seems like there's a bend on your panel :) It seems that it is impossible for Samsung to design a panel that is sturdy enough. Gonna be a hard pass from me if this bending issue continues in S95C.

@@mchambliss2 that panel has a curve in the center, you can see it in the video. all my TV's are samsung and i wanted a new oled. i went to bestbuy looked at the QN90B and s95b. the s95b has a beautiful picture the display had a curve in the panel as well. the qn90b i could see the rainbow effect on the screen. i walked out with a sony a95k. samsung lost a customer.
