- This week's episode comes from our Los Angeles base camp as we prepare for The Speed Project. I welcomed Lucy Haldon, an exceptional hybrid athlete from Manchester, UK, as our guest. In this episode, Lucy and I had a raw and vulnerable conversation about her experience dealing with imposter syndrome after being invited to join our team for The Speed Project. We also discussed the challenging yet rewarding decisions that come with letting go of negative relationships and shared our experiences of overcoming eating disorders. Lucy is a true inspiration to people all over the world, demonstrating what it means to have courage in the face of adversity. Enjoy!

As a guy with an 18 month old daughter, I will absolutely be telling her to look to people like Lucy as role models! Keep it up!
Oh my gosh I need Jeffs one liners on a daily basis! Good luck everyone!!!! I've been a follower of Lucy for years and Nick for 3 years so seeing the both of you together is a dream!!! BEST WISHES :)
43:25 The 'courage to be happy' is a significant point from the book mentioned - The Courage to Be Disliked - being brave enough to make choices to pursue happiness rather than linger in the now.
Stoked for this !!
“I’ve never bonked so hard” Lucy Davis. Awesome podcast.
Great conversation!
A lot of relatable moments in this one. I am currently training for my first sprint Tri, I have and will continue to lift 4x a week. All the people in the tri clubs and groups want me to stop weight training or limit it to 2x a week for 45 min. I'm not going to. I enjoy it. And I don't want to just do tris I want to be better everywhere. If that means I have to give up a little running, or some time on the bike so be it.
Nick, I've been saying it for a few months, you too need to give Hyrox a shot. I think you would do very well in that sport, it's a blast!!!!
Love her!! A great inspiration ❤
Watched it already on Spotify and about to watch it again on CZcams! It was awesome to hear Lucy's story. Keep it up Nick!!!
