Croxteth Park Miniature Railway, Liverpool. 4K

Croxteth Park Miniature Railway is a paid railway, prices were £2.50 per ticket and if you book online there is a 25p booking fee per ticket.
This was the opening day of the railway, it’s been closed since 2009. The team have worked hard to get the rounds in shape to allow trains to run once again.
There was 2 steam locos visiting to help out with passenger numbers although they only had one carriage each and only ran one at a time along with the Railways Diesel loco so the queue was around 25 minutes to get a ride.
It was quite unorganised but I’ll put that down to them opening up for the first time in a long time. Hopefully they can get some extra carriages and a better queuing system going with some rope to allow passengers who disembark the train to walk clearly out of the railway.
We will be visiting again so hopefully things have improved when we next see it.
