- The Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven arranged for Piano & Orchestra!
This is the world premiere of the first ever known version of the Moonlight sonata for piano and symphony orchestra. While the piano part remains the same as the original, the orchestra adds colors to the overall mood, so the piece sounds even more deep, relaxing and magical. I really hope you really like and enjoy this music!

It is called as "Moonlight Sonata" because once a blind girl asked Beethoven how did the moon and the night looked like. And this masterpiece was Beethoven's reply!
Aman Kumar Singh thank you for such an awesome comment.
No, it's called Moonlight Sonata because someone compared the piece to a moon shining over a lake.
The Pope I️ like Aman’s answer better!
Aman Kumar Singh wow
Beethoven didn't call it Moonlight.

Beethoven will never die. Moonlight Sonata proves it.
Many people can play the notes....and then there are those who can play the music
Só true
So true. It takes REAL emotion to play a masterpiece like this. Not just training & repition.
And those who can't play neither.
The best is the sync they have.

That’s the best Version of Moonlight sonata ever.
Thank you so much!! 😊
Whenever I am tense and cannot get sleep, I play this rendition. It’s soothing. The best version of Moonlight Sonata.
If I could only hear one and only one piece of music for the rest of my life I would choose this.

This gives me a feeling of freedom, exhilarating ❤️ One of my top 5
It's the FIRST arrangement of this piece I've ever heard without it being a piano solo! Delightful! The slower tempo allowed the pianist to express himself more and the orchestra never overshadowed him, only complemented and enhanced the performance 😍 Well done! Sending 👏 from Australia 🇦🇺😊
bro you are a legend for three major things
1. perfect playing
2. you allowed us to download it
3. after years you are still giving hearts on comments
This piece is of a tragic beauty, seems to describe the pain and loneliness of a deep soul.
I found that there are so many funny comments here, thinking that Moonlight sonata is about describing the night sky and the moon. Moonlight Sonata is actually about missing someone so badly, the desperation, the sweetness of love that still lingers, the bitterness of disappointment and then the madness caused by missing that one person so very bad. It has nothing to do with the night sky.
Edit: whoa, thx for so many likes. I do understand that some people think that music can be freely interpreted, however in classical music, to disregard the original inspiration of the composer, IMHO is being disrespectful. Just because music doesnt have words, doesnt mean it shouldnt be understand deeply. Imagine if this Sonata is a poem that you write about your unrequited love, you poured your sadness, longing n disappointment into your poem and then some people interpret that your poem is actually about something totally unrelated which is the beauty of the moon.
Though it does sound like something about a moon (at least the 1st movement does)
Yeah
1st movement is missing someone so badly, the desperation
2nd movement is the love that still lingers
And the 3rd movement being the bitterness of disappointment and the madness
The whole entire feel of the sonata
Thank you for explaining
I am missing some one so badly
It's about everything and nothing. It's about whatever you want it you want it to be.
Dude's playing like his whole life led up to this one concert. Respect
+Glenn Sandberg It's phenomenal self discipline too and that's something people lack in pretty much every era.
+Glenn Sandberg Ya listening to music like this is pretty awesome but actually playing it is on a whole other level. When I used to play orchestra in high-school I hated the practices but when we actually played music it was the best thing in the world for that moment. I really need to get back into it.
Indeed.
+Vaisakh Surendran In a way, it kind of did. This is the culmination of all of those hours of practice and study up to that point.
It's pretty cool.

One thing that I love about this is the audience is sitting there quietly, taking it all in. No cell phones in the air. Just in the moment. Perfection!
And one asshole coughing so many times ...
The reincarnation of Beethoven!!! Its not his playing that gets me, its his emotions aswell. What a class act! Cheers to you Sir, all the way from the South Pacific- Kingdom Of Tonga 🇹🇴
@Jon Jones 0331 USMC But I never saw a Nazi in Germany during the war play the piano! So I can't make any comparisons. Take a chill pill, it was meant to be like an endearing compliment, not taken literally! So yeah- I'm definitely LMFAO that you didn't understand the assignment lol.
The most perfect melancholic song , written by a genius who was deaf at the moment but despite his hearing condition , using frequencies managed to turn music into vibration that he could detect and that is exactly why this song has this magnificent effect of purifying your soul .
If we are advanced as a specie right now and we developed technologies and careers , cities , entertainment , arts we own that to people like Beethoven , Mozard, Vivaldi , Tsaikovski , Schubert , Chopin , Strauss , etc etc .
Thanks to their music , our brain unlocked abilities previously unknown to us , painting , poetry , dancing all kind of talents were appearing all over the place.
It takes intelligence to create music and takes also intelligence to appreciate music .
I totally agree with you!
It’s almost as though this music allows us to better understand ourselves

I’ve heard many renditions of this beautiful piece but this performance is the closest to perfection. The pianist put all his heart into the music and the orchestra accompanied him so well. Can’t stop listening to it. So grateful for having this in this world. Thank you! ❤

I found this piece by accident. For about a week now, I haven't stopped listening to it. I have also heard several interpretations, but this one has something special, it makes it connect with my soul in a unique way. I am a forced migrant and my heart was scattered in various places, this music makes me connect with myself. I didn't know the performer, but one day I would like to hear him perform live, I am a Venezuelan displaced by the dictatorship, I now live in Chile.
Good luck !😊
Thank you so much! I am really happy that you feel this interpretation in such way! Thanks for listening and good luck! 🍀
I love how the pianist plays with so much passion. What a masterpiece

Every time I hear this piece, it’s overwhelming. Such a masterpiece, a gift to humanity. Sometimes I wonder how such a wonderful piece can be created. Thank YOU Mr Beethoven and thank you piano and orchestra for playing it so beautifully.

When the piano starts..I feel like entering a forest dark, mysterious, but I hear beautiful sound dan mesmerized me so I never want to get out of it.

I think it's horror music 🎶🎵
Wah warga +62..
The pianist made a dramatic appearance like was dreaming and flying ...a way of playing straight from soul
I've heard many pianists play this, but this is next level. Very impressive.
This is my personal soul piece. It's the one I spent many years learning to play properly. At one stage, I could touch a little of the sublime beauty I heard in this performance. I think this is the best version I have ever heard. Seems like dramatic praise, but the sympathy of the orchestra was held in captivation by that melancholy lento of that extraordinarily expressive piano. Bravo doesn't touch my gratitude.
Thank you so much! I am really happy that you liked this rendition!

I don’t know if I would be humble or arrogant had I been gifted with the talent of this man…
I fear not the man who has practiced every song once. But the man that practiced a song a thousand times.
That's deep.
Taken from the quote of Bruce Lee.. 🤣
Makes no sense, why would you fear someone who can play a song perfectly? lol
I don’t understand the quote. Is it saying it’s a bad thing to practice a song over and over? That’s what I do. It’s the only way I can really learn.
Beethoven had such an orderly mind, yet managed to create exquisitely intricate music.Highly evolved artists are truly gifts of flesh & blood
The timing is perfect.... Not too fast, not too slow. This is a pleasure to listen to.
Imagine a pianist playing this delicate piece of music…it is the adhesive that keeps the entire orchestra together moving gracefully through countless bars…bravo well done!!!

This music really captured the feeling of the moon itself! What a masterpiece!
Wait, he plays like that AND looks like Val Kilmer? I’m shook. This is a stunning rendition.
No se que dijiste, pero si se parece a val kilmer
The consistency low key piano notes to show how the night skies remain dark with no
Sunlight, only moonlight. Other high musical notes from different instruments to replicate the night vibes and sounds, weather etc. I don’t even know what I’m talking about just a straight feeling that I’m directly having with this song first time I’ve heard it in a while.
This piece has nothing to do with the night sky. Moonlight sonata is a piece written about heartbreak, missing someone so badly, so painful, haunted by memories, the sweetness of love that still lingers but leads to madness and desperation because that love is out of reach. NOTHING TO DO with night sky or moon.
Ascoltare il MAESTRO quando suona questa musica ti dimentichi tutte le cose brutte che ci circondano oggi nel mondo.
GRAZIE MAESTRO.
Piano guy so young and SO good!!! Plays like old soul....
Em setembro de 1992, comecei frequentar o Centro Espírita Allan Kardec e está música tocava suavemente nos intervalos. Um período marcante e inesquecível. Gratidão!
Beautifully played. I wonder what Maestro Beethoven would think when people born more than 200 years after his death are still playing and listening to his magnificent musical masterpiece. I think even Beethoven would be moved.
He perfectly understand Beethoven's aesthetic and intent and spirit,
so his performance is stellar and immaculate
This masterpiece's performance is the humanity's fabulous lullaby , and the cradle gently cradled by Cherkin

So very nice, thanks! I don't know classical music so good, when I heard this I thought it was very good. The pianist plays with a great feeling, don't think I heard this piece so good before. Then I start to think "is it usually an orchestra with the piano?" I then read the info. The orchestra part is really lifting the music, and I think it's a perfect match with the character of the original piano piece. Really good (sorry for bad English)
Thank you so much! I am happy that you liked it!
moonlight sonata is about grief. It is quite clear. The piece starts as if some thoughts arise like bubbles on the surface of the mind. They soon turn melancholic and intense and the whole body is swaying under a wave of grief. Finally it subsides into a peaceful state.
You can really sense when the people playing the music actually feels it. That is where the difference is between a legend and a pro.
Very smart comment 👍

Thank you, Georgii, i was stuck in Kempf's impression and somehow deceived about Beethoven's chances to revival. Somehow, my faith in humanity

In my opinion it is the single most emotion filled piece of music ever composed. Gets me every single time
One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever played
Wow! That was mesmerizing. You could have heard a pindrop as he was channeling Beethoven, himself. I wish I could have been there.
I feel so attached to this piece. It's just mesmerizing, words are not enough to express the feeling I get wherever I hear this piece. When I die I want this piece to be played in my funeral. Dark, gloomy but at the same time a ray of light through a small gap, waiting to be reached but it's not easy, near but far, that is how I describe this piece.

Don't call it music - It is Art from the finest kind of !
That was an incredible example of Moonlight. I'm really impressed with this piano player.
what makes enchants me about this song is the simplicity of the tempo. most of the notes in the piece are supposed ot have the same value. yet somehow you cannot hear it after a while. it becomes the whole world. like the background noise of a summer breeze at night. and someone is contemplating their life outside while been hit by that constant summer breeze reminding them of the constant forward movement of time.
The most graceful interpretation truly deserves more than 15 millions views 🎉
Who are the 2.7K giving this a thumbs-down? I am a purist, but this arrangement is magnificent!
Truly fitting for the eminence in shadow
What would the world be without art and music of this kind? Nothing but superficial and empty voids.❤🔥🥀
Now imagine the mind of a person who would write this on paper, hearing it in their mind…every instrument, every movement, arrangement, all of it in their brain long before anyone ever saw or practiced it. All of these amazing artists are just a representation of the genius of a single person who was playing all their parts in their head prior…it’s truly insane.
My god!
Got goosebumps.
The pianist and his emotions while pressing those keys....
Mesmerizing.
I used to think that every performance of a piece was the same, when I heard you perform I realized how wrong I was, it's simply amazing, exciting, divine, you can't stop listening. Thank you❤
Wow, thank you! Yes, actually this is the only version for piano and symphony orchestra, which I arranged more than 12 years ago. I am happy that it has more than 10 millions as of today.
It's a relatively simple piece, but requires an enormous energy to play correctly. Because it's slow, the complexity has transferred to the delicateness of each key press and in the timing of these press. The melody has to float above the rest. The trio has to be precisely smooth
If ubdont crying listening this music. Ure no human.. thank u beethoven 😢
If it is true Beethoven composed this masterpiece for a blind girl who asked him what the Moon and the night felt like, it is even more remarkable if you think he was deaf!

It's like... They're thinking how they're gonna murder the audiance with there outstanding performance
It’s funny because as a beginner I get weird looks on my face and strange body language while playing. It’s because it’s so difficult and I’m trying so hard to focus and not mess up. When I saw this I thought that his expressions are from focusing on getting it right too, but I am probably way off base.
No that look on his face is him being pissed off because that b**** keeps on coughing in the audience. She's f****** up the whole recording and he knows it so he's trying to keep that out of his mind while simultaneously being the centerpiece for this entire orchestra knowing that it's already f****** ruined and when he listens back to it all he's going to be able to hear is this chick hacking in the background for like 2 or 3 minutes
