The music is stunning but, I'm in tears of empathy at the lady's posture! The pain in the neck/back/shoulders ... it can last a lifetime.
In all fairness she is sharing a small bench with Hauser,and doing it with the best posture she can.They are both incredible!

Becasuse they/she want us to be sexually interested in her and some other aspects (like comfort) must be contorted and adjusted to fascilitate that goal.
She probably can't manipulate the peddals with her feet because of the shoes when she sits closer, and her knees will also hit the piano.
Awkward as it may seem, the pose maximizes the audience's view of her legs and thighs and buttox and hips which are enhanced by the shoes and tight minidress in order to stir our sexual interest in her which multiplies the amount of views and therfor grants them a higher revenue. Sexuality is enhanced even further by the shoes by tilting of her body in such an angle that her buttox is portruding outward with an arched back which is a very powerful sexual simmage indeed.
I am both insulted by their attempt to use my and her sexuality for commerical purposes as well as being dissapointed in myself and other men that it is working. As well being impressed by how well the sexualization of this woman has been executed.

This is my favorite classical music piece and it always brings me to tears. They’re both talented, but this music isn’t about being sexy. It’s about the music. So her sitting a million miles away from the piano just because she had extremely high heels on and wanted to show off her legs etc, imho backfired. It’s hard to be a classical musician but I guess it’s even harder to try to be a sexy classical musician. You can look good but don’t wear stuff you can’t play in without looking ridiculous.

This is a masterpiece for piano alone. It’s absolutely magnificent as it is. Any source of distraction would only serve to diminish its perfect beauty. It’s like stuffing a perfect piece of sushi full of cream cheese.
Art is supposed to be beautiful. On this masterpiece by Beethoven, they were beautiful.
Both of these people have spent their life dedicated to the boundaries and rules classical music. They both are very capable in multiple genres of music (if you take any time to listen to their works other than this one) This is their arrangement of this song and it seems to be doing very well. They understand what they are doing and may have more education on the topic than MOST of the haters in these comments. They are both attractive people and they dress how they want to dress because they have a right to that.
In terms of liking an arrangement or really anything, not everything is for everybody and that's okay!

I just happened upon your comment from 3 years ago and want to respond to it. I’m 67 years old now and was a classical pianist and organist since I was 5. I also ventured into other styles and genres of music when I was in my late teens (and no longer dictated by my parents or instructors), while still playing classical music. I personally think that Hauser is the only talented one in this duet, Lola being the one without much. Her visual appearance has created numerous comments, responses, and debates from both men and women, and I do agree with you that they are entitled to wear and dress however they like, but not when it comes to wearing stilettos while playing the piano! This is NOT appropriate, nor is her sitting so far away from the keys bc of them! Anyone who is a musician in the true sense of the word should know better! As for the remarks about Lola’s looks, it shouldn’t even have been brought up in the discussions as much as it was - let the men ogle a woman from a magazine, or in person, and NOT a video of a beautiful, classic Beethoven sonata, hence taking up the amount of space that it did. *** I can’t say enough about how talented I think Hauser is, and his natural ability to play many different styles of music 🎶!

Most of the ‘likes’ and positive remarks were made by the male species about Lola, not Hauser (whom I consider as very talented on his own, as well as with duets with other people), and HER appearance. I doubt that many of the people who wrote comments even know what ‘real’ talent is, nor are they capable of recognizing it when they hear (or watch) it played! Perhaps some of the women are just jealous of her looks, causing some of their unjustified comments too! For everyone who reads this response - Music has absolutely nothing to do with gender, appearance, age, race, religion, sexual orientation (i.e. Elton John), etc. - ONLY TALENT, PERIOD! When it's a woman, however, people start yapping and what they see in their eyes is probably like a horrible 6 year old pianist dressed in a 1000$ tuxedo. It causes them to cringe, because the person is seemingly seeing herself as more important than she is. But this is not the case here, because LoLa is a skilled player
For example Melle Baby on CZcams plays guitar half-naked and people get really mad because they say a guy with her level of skill would never be famous, and that she is only famous cause people enjoy looking at her.
I think people have this idea that men play music from their soul and women just want attention, that men go to the gym and lift like monsters, and women just want attention, etc. Etc.
But I found that many women seem to, in addition to focusing on performance, summon energy from a separate dimension and focus that energy on looking good. And that focus does not come at the cost of performance, it's like the saying "i have a separate stomach for dessert
And it was when I listened to a singer on youtube named marcela, that I realized one can be gorgeous and *also* a very good musician. It's not a zero-sum game.
Overall, the bitterness people have around what each sex is "allowed" to do is holding humanity back from its fullest potential

I'm a deeply emotional empath. Existential angst is my specialty. I've had a mystical connection (as many do) with this piece for over 40 yrs. I put the video on 75% speed and it is perfect. *LOVE* these superstar collaborations with Hauser!💞
I have no problem with her outfit, shoes, anything, she looks BEAUTIFUL... but just the way she sits!!! It looks so awkward. If you're going to go for that kind of look, Yuja Wang does it best (and she is a godly player)
