The Maverick X3 feels more comfortable when I sit in it, but when I am flying through the woods I feel much better about my seating position in a RZR then the X3. Same is true for climbing hills. If I was doing a lot of dune or dessert riding I would probably get a X3. All other types of riding give me the versatility of the RZR turbo S and its beefed up components you didn’t mention, like the superior front dif.

You dont really know how to use the suspension. Sport mode is dynamic which means the suspension adjusts on it's own according to the bumps speed and bunch of other factors. When you go slower and need traction you put it in comfort mode and if you are driving on flat road at higher speed you want to set it to firm.

I destroyed 2 Polaris ATVs back in late 90s. Both major gearbox failures. Complete Junk. So I buy a 400EX Honda and ride it for 13 years with ZERO problems. 2 years ago I decided to buy a new ATV and I'm older now and wanted a easy riding machine. I thought Polaris had to come a long way since my time in the 90s with them. Bought a new Sportsman 570. Got it home and on day 1 it popped, clanked, and made weird noises like a old Model T Ford. I dont recall any Hondas, Kawasaki I've rode making all that racket. I sold it last year because I just knew there was no way that thing would hold up very long. They are the same clunky machines they were 20 years ago.

"Trails..." "rock climbing"... if this channel is going to do some SXS reviews, find some real trails that I wouldn't be able to get up in a stock pickup truck.

Where I live this is literally an every day driver, so 30K is pretty freaking inexpensive for the ridiculously impressive things it can do. I don't know anything else that even comes close for the price. But I live in a place that that totally makes sense. I understand if you don't.

Rob Soergel where are you at? I just moved to Heber City, UT. Totally makes sense here. Plus I have been working in Moab. I want one now. In Idaho Falls, the 50” trails made it worthless, where you could only ride it at the sand dunes. That doesn’t appeal to me at all.

Still is a rubber band driven toy. Get rid of the rubber band and go full mechanical and then we can talk about a real machine. I can smell the rubber burning now after a hard hill climb and long extended desert run.

Older post I know, responding anyway. I live in Vegas so all of my riding is either the desert or Utah. I've had my turbo S almost a year and have yet to blow a belt. I carry one on the machine just incase. I would much rather blow a belt that cost $200 that I can replace on the trail and keep going than have a trans. Problem while riding.
