    The grapple gun goes on the backpack, with the barrel pointed up, and the pistol grip pointed towards the center of the pack, fitting right under the three pouches.

    You’re supposed tie a cord between the gun and the hook

    I had this figure as a kid and it was the one i played with the most because he looked so awesome and had badass weapons. I would love to see a version in a more modern color scheme, like a gun metal grey armor with black accents and mask underneath, which would work much better in urban/city environments.

    All these troop builders are awesome, but for me Cobra Viper just looks straight up badass with it's colors. I want Hasbro to put out more because it was exclusive or at least I think it was, I was only able to get one, and were always sold out and some how people were able to get more than one. That's why I HATE EXCLUSIVES!! Especially from Walgreens, they never have 💩💩💩💩💩

    As far as the pins go, my hypothesis is that the alley viper was pretty much finished a long time ago (hence the box art from the jump). For whatever reason (Pandemic, Snake Eyes movie, etc.) they pushed back his release. Again, I don't know that for sure, but it makes sense.

    Marvel Legends figures need accessories packs more than GI JOE Classified Series. The Marvel Legends team at HASBRO should take notes from the JOE team and make accessories packs for Legends.

    Awesome looking figure. Only thing that I can think of that would make it better is extra hands, fists for punching Joes and maybe gesturing hand.
    I was puzzled as to why they're so vibrant in colour but someone else said they're wearing dazzle pattern to confuse the enemy.
    My Flint figure has the oddly positioned shin pads too. They look as if they're glued to the wrong leg.

    • @smyers9052
      @smyers9052 Před 2 lety +1

      The colors simply reflect the original figure. The late 80s and early 90s Joes often had vibrant color schemes without any rhyme or reason. No formal or canonical reasoning exists for this color scheme, but I always thought of them as an expression of power in the streets, or some kind of public enforcement division that was meant to be visible as a deterrent. Nearly everything about this figure's aesthetic comes directly from 1989, or the mid-2000s 4-inch version (specifically the leather shin guards), which was itself based on the OG '89 figure.

    • @brianng8350
      @brianng8350 Před 2 lety

      There was a period of time in 90s or 00s when Hasbro re-released some of the 3.75" figures and just changed the color to ugly neon colors... This is one of those new figures, but still with ugly neon colors.

      @smyers9052 Před 2 lety

      @@brianng8350 This is the original color scheme for the Alley Viper, from 1989. Most of the '89 line was not brightly colored, and it was really between '91-'94 when the neon schemes became dominant.

      @@smyers9052 Yes, I am aware. I did say in my last sentence that this was one of the new figures but with the ugly color scheme. @@brianng8350 Lol, I was still pretty young so these were the main Joes I collected.
