  • Annual trip to Algonquin Park, this year we did a 4 day (3 night) loop starting on Canoe Lake, First night was on Tom Thomson Lake, second night Sunbeam Lake, and the final night was on Burnt Island Lake.
The weather was rough on the third and fourth day and that meant some of the nastiest canoeing conditions I've ever had to deal with!

Nice video. I did the loop in September of 2019, so it was fun to retrace the steps along with you. Stayed on the same campsite on Tom Thomson. Watched a couple barrel their canoe full speed into a fallen tree on the little creek to Bartlett. Consider yourself lucky on the Pond. We had to portage it because the water was low, and it sucked. Bummed to see the damaged trees on the Sunbeam to Treefrog portage. We stayed on the campsite right next to it, and had a juvenile bull moose walk up on us during breakfast. Good times.
