- This is a demonstration on how to paint the cockpits on your miniatures with a reverse order method that reduces the brightest colors first as you work to your darker ones. It's a great way to prevent having to do super fine edge or bright spot painting at the very end of the process that can sometimes be the most stressful part of painting reflections.

I find executing good cockpit glass effects probably the most tricky thing when doing Battletech miniatures so these tutorials help a lot. I would love to see is a tutorial on the two color cockpit effect, I've seen some minis on the Camo Specs site utilizing it and they are really stunning.
Accidentally deleted my first reply but thank you for the kind words. I recovered fully and my hobby time has been a lot less with work and home life getting back to normal. I’ll keep bugging Brushido about a two tone cockpit tutorial so hopefully we’ll get one.

Absolutely great.. how do you keep your brush so perfect in shape and pointed?
Thank you. Some folks are harder on brushes due to the amount of bend they induce with their brush strokes and that can advance the wear. Avoiding paint in the ferrule and I don’t use this brush for metallics. I also use Drunken Brush Goop from monument hobbies to clean and after use condition and reshape them. You also have to clip frayed or damaged bristles periodically.
