Awesome. Surely your applying for that SPs guitarist job?? 🙌
Thank you! I definitely applied 👍
Most people will say it's fake. The amount of time you have spent replicating the Siamese dream sound is amazing. I'm very jealous.
Man great job. This is outstanding. Every detail. Even that compressed muff sound.
Eddie, congratulations on this incredible achievement. Like many millions, I've been listening to SD for 30 years. I've been up and down CZcams for many years and have watched all of the covers and "how to get Billy's tone" videos from everyone else. You couldn't be any closer without actually being Billy Corgan in a studio in Georgia in 1992/3. Huge respect.
Great Job! You’re becoming what Gilmourish is to Pink Floyd tones. You should call yourself Corganish!
the sound is crazy! Thanks for the video
Thank you and happy to do it 👍
Playing a Pumpkins song on a Mayer signature feels illegal, but it still sounds amazing
I don’t disagree 🤣
Extremely accurate sounding
i need you to post more often, i need to see these 2 pedalboards you have there
A new video is coming soon. I just posted up a picture of each board for you on my IG. @sporadicmotion
Very well played again my friend! Like +1, Keep it up!!🎸
Thank you 🙏
Bang on cover. I especially like how you varied the pickup selector to thicken out the doubled parts. I hope I'm not overstepping, but would you mind sharing your Amplitude and other plug-in settings? I'd love to give this a shot myself. Also, good luck with your application! I hope are your hard work to replicate the SD tones lead you to the big stage.
Thank you on all counts! I am following this cover with a video on how I use plugins to cover the Siamese Dream sound.
Hey Ed. This sounds great!!
While I love Siamese, I always wondered how to get that "synth fuzz" sound so distinctive on Machina/Machina II albums.
Some examples are: The Everlasting Gaze chorus, I of the Mourning chorus, The Sacred and Profane, This Time, The Imploding Voice chorus, Real Love (pretty exaggerated here lol), Let Me Give the World to You. It was used previously in By Starlight, too.
I'm under the impression that it was the result of massive fuzz and massive reverb but i'm not sure.
Keep it up with the good work!
Impressive! The drum track sounds so good too.
My favorite off Siamese Dream, great work as always Eddie!
Hey Eddie, great cover, been following your videos from a while from reddit! Do you have any advice on mixing Siamese Dream style leads to be upfront against all the fuzzines from the rythm?
Thank you! For lead sounds, I make sure they’re more midrange focused so they poke out from the scooped sound of the big muff tracks. I also keep them center while the rhythm tracks are relatively hard panned.
You crushed this. So good.
Awesome as ever. Fingers crossed for you on your application 🤞🏻🤞🏻
so awesome
Absolutely brilliant
Excellent as always.
Very impressive. 🤘
Especially considering you're only using plug-ins on a cheap guitar you bought in Thailand 😮!! Extremely impressive 👏👏
Thank you! It’s not a $100 Thai guitar this time though. It’s a PRS Silver Sky SE that I borrowed from a friend 👍
dude nice, the tone is iimmaculate
Thank you very much 👍
There is no one more qualified to be the new third guitarist for SP. You MUST apply. Or I'll do it for you LOL
lol thank you. I applied a couple days ago 🤞
@@EddieClark thats amazing!!! Im rooting for you! 🤘
Nice
love these videos-- you nailed it.
Nailed it!
This is amazing!! dude you really got it! I wanted to sing so bad... :)
Sounds great man! What did you do for the drums?
Thanks! I extract the drum tracks from the original songs then rebuild the song over top of that drum track.
You mentioned in your pi-phase video that you used a splitter, but if someone was just going into a jcm 800, had a muff and a microsynth, mxr distortion ii and a phase 90, what would i be missing to complete the puzzle? Great job man!
I would still say the same effects. Billy only used one amp. Definitely need a BiPhase as well as the pedals in this video:

@@EddieClark just wondering where the Jordan buzztone fits into it, I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I have an alesis 3630 for compression, but I never tried it with the microsynth. I do know what you mean though with the notes cutting out without compression when the synth is used. A G3 atom and the pi-phase are on my wishlist to get the rack gear and pedal set up together. Good luck with the application, I sent mine in the other day, but I'm not expecting anything. Haha
Buzz Tone is directly after the Microsynth. It’s the primary lead tone fuzz.
any ideas for the “pumpkizer” effect Billy and Butch used on his voice other than the Eventide h3000 ? that unit is just to expensive and I feel like there’s a cheap way to recreate that effect other than the plugin
I think you might be talking about the mild pitch shift and micro delay effect. It can be done with DAW delay and pitch shift plugins pretty easily. Just keep the effects subtle and it should do the trick 👍
Hey Eddie, I picked up a Strymon Deco, can I get your setting for the Cherub Rock solo? Thanks!
You need to use your ear to fine tune but set the Lag Time to around 2 o’clock and then tweak until it’s hovering between chorus and delay. Then set the Blend so the wet signal is a little quieter than the dry signal. Either of the first two modes will work well. 👍
@EddieClark the settings were perfect. I need to pick up a buzz tone because I'm experiencing a loss of sustain. At first, I thought it was my pickups but now I'm thinking my OP Amp alone may not be enough to get that searing lead sound they had. I would appreciate any input on my signal chain, it goes Orange Super Crush 100>MXR Carbon Copy>Big Muff>Deco>Phase90>Noise Supressor>Tube Screamer>Wah>Squire Strat
Thanks again for the help Eddie!
The Big Muff doesn’t do well for SD lead sounds. The Buzz Tone is better suited and sounds much closer. Have fun with it!
theyre looking for a guitarist btw
I applied a couple days back 🤞
@@EddieClark hell yes. I honestly immediately thought of you when I saw the posting, haha. Good luck!
Are you gonna audition? 😊
I already applied 👍
Please please please tell me you've already sent in an application to join the band!
