Billy is the only guy i've seen able to completely pull off a cape. He's a genuine 7ft cape wearing super hero. If he walked past you down the street wearing a cape, you'd be like ''woah that's a freakin cool look!''.. then you'd rush down to your local cape shop and spend hours looking at yourself in the mirror wondering why you look like a complete nut job, in a cape.
I feel that solo is where the engineer failed... like the accompanying solo they totally just drowned out. The things I’ve read most about this album and why it was pulled from the internet all say it was mixed poorly and that one part really stood out to me. It’s the dueling solo you can barely hear. I honestly think this album would’ve been great.
It’s hardly a trolling comment. I’m serious. He’s no dave Lombardo. But he fits in well with the SP. That’s all I mean. Meg white does/did her job for TWS to keep a beat so jack can flourish. It’s like ringo Starr. He doesn’t play like a fucking madman, he keeps the beat and the others just fall in. There’s a million musicians like that. They play their part and it sounds great.
Ken Biggs, your comparisons are unfair. It's arguable that Meg could barely keep a beat, is stiff as hell, yet Jimmy is fluid as hell with the fattest, thickest beats of any of the 'alternative rock' bands, in my opinion. And you're comparing him to a thrash metal drummer? You're spot on, he fits perfectly with SP, but that's because he directly influenced, transformed their sound the moment he joined them. Most drummers in similar bands can't make that claim. I love listening to SP for the drumming, he most certainly does not just sit in the back, he plays a bigger role while giving room at the same time. And ironically I don't think the drumming on this one is particularly good, but it shouldn't be used as an example of Jimmy at his best.

@Traxxattaxx whhhaaaattttt I love 90s Pumpkins. They have some good stuff post 2000 for sure but I really miss the slower paced somber songs they used to do. It's just personal preference it doesn't mean you need to grow up. I think their early stuff is a perfect example of how a song can capture the mood and feeling of a certain Era. Ironically that's pretty much the meaning of the word Zeitgeist.
@Traxxattaxx yeah SP fans have 3 main factions, old stuff only, new stuff only, and both. Personally I don't care when it was made if it sounds good when it hits my ear.

Basket Case.
You poor embryo. You missed the 90s didnt cha?
Start with Gish defenitely!
A greenday fan I presume
Back again for my daily listen
One of my favorites, thank you for rocking sir 🤘🏽
Dicho sin rebozo ninguno: una de las mejores canciones de Smashing Pumpkins.
Memories from Guitar Hero Decades on my ds
