- Tony "'Plugger" Lockett kicked a goal with his first kick in VFL Football in Round 4, 1983. This video has all of Plugger's highlights from his first game through to his Brownlow Medal win in 1987, containing tons of footage never seen before.
The greatest, my hero its hard to comprehend how good he was and what impact he had on the st kilda fans.
The great man when you were watching lockett you somehow knew you were watching history the most unstoppable player the game has ever seen
The best of the best. Period.
Absolute champ.
Many fond memories watching him at Moorabbs when dad and I worked there. Taking on tough 'old' players who really gave it to him physically, and then, eventually he gave it back x 3. Didn't take long. Genuinely the angriest player I ever saw. Him and Archer.
Happy 56th Birthday To one the Greatest players ever Tony Lockett
I follow Carlton, but I always loved watching Locket, Dunstall and Abblet do their majic, it was wonderful in the 80s 90s
The best ever
During the days when the Game had character.....and characters !!!!
The GOAT full forward, what a beast, VFL Plugnuts was the best version.
Anyone who thinks Lockett couldn't excel in today's footy have no idea what they're talking about.
They wouldn’t have the strength or stamina to match him.
He would demolish them in today’s game.
@@jamescarmody6467 too good for any high paid AFL players of today.
Plugger to Jacko!!! That's a sight to behold
My first reaction.
Good team play.
Jacko drops the mark but claims it authoritatively and the umpire isn't game to refuse him.
16:09 Peter McKenna words of wisdom.

Given the thug that Lockett was and the way footy has turned into a ballet session he wouldn't last 5 minutes today. He'd be spending most of his time suspended
