  • I haven't abandoned my BMW E61 project. Right now it is my daily driver, although it is missing some interior parts :) - but I don't mind. Also, I'm still learning how to film POV videos. It is my second attempt. Let me know what you guys think!
    Thank you

Really wishing we had N54's readily available in Sweden too :( Looks like a great project!

Nice work. POV was great. Little wobble here and there but overall good.

Not sure if you’re still in possession of the car or are still in progress of modifying, I just got an n54 twin turbo 2008 awd wagon and it’s in near perfect shape stock. What should be the first thing i modify I’m new to the whole thing, would you be kind to educate me?

Hello, yes, I still have it and still modifying it. Just no time to film new videos.
      Congratulations on your new ride!
The very first thing I would do is get an engine tune, MHD is the most user-friendly in my opinion.
Just Google MHD tune for N54, and it will take you to the right website.
Try stage I, the car feels different.
Second I would tune the transmission. Google xHP transmission tune, you can use the same OBD adapter as for an MHD and it will significantly change how your transmission shifts.
These are just a few steps you can start with. Of course, if you want to push more power hardware parts need to be upgraded.
I changed turbos on mine and added a bigger intercooler. Big difference! But it was a pricey mod, around $4k for parts and labor.
      Hopefully it helps :)
