Let's look at the movie Step Brothers. A comedy so obviously farcical, but there you had in fact two full grown men who were in fact bullied by whatever 5th graders or something. And you know what they did? They stopped walking past the school. Problem solved! They weren't bullied anymore and it wasn't an issue the rest of the movie. At the end they went back and beat up the kids, which we have to assume also solved the problem further. Two good solutions, but the first one outlines the fact that as an adult, with as much freedom as you have, you cannot be bullied unless you put yourself in the situation to interact with said bully. Simple as that. Not trying to victim shame or anything here, but if we're talking adults you have to take responsibility. Either assert yourself, avoid the situation, or you are complicit.
