  • An article yesterday highlighted 4 major stats to support LeBron James’ argument as the GOAT over Michael Jordan. Shot creation, first round playoff record, LeBron scoring nearly a thousand more career playoff points, and shooting efficiency all favor LeBron. Hear why Shannon Sharpe believes all these points help validate LeBron's case for being the GOAT.

      LeBron got swept twice in the finals. He got gentlemen swept two times, and choked against Dallas with one star in Dirk when Miami had The Big Three in their primes in 2011 😂 That clown got blown out by the Spurs by a record Finals margin. It took Draymond getting suspended and Curry and Iggy getting hurt for him to win it in game 7 of 2016 when Kyrie hit the game winning shot. He also has a bubble championship in 2020 😭⚰️ LeBob The Builder James had to jump ship twice to form a super team to win a championship cuz he couldn't do it originally. LeBron has the most turnovers in NBA history, the most missed shots in Playoff history and probably the most flops as well if they were counted lol. All this and this bum has a 4-10 Finals record which is the most "Finals Losses in NBA history". 🗣️THESE ARE ALL FACTS lmfaooo he's nowhere near Jordan's level let alone Kobe's!

MJ made it to the finals 6 times with decent players. Lebron beat a historically great team in the finals in gsw and with complete trash. And for those who say he had kyrie well look at kyrie now. Hes straight garbage. He single handedly destroyed the celtics. Terry rozier was better than Kyrie. He had kevin love. Look at kevin love without lebron. Straight trash. And they beat gsw. And look at the Cavaliers when lebron is not on the team. Bottom of the worst conference in basketball. Yet jordan couldnt even make it to the finals with yes not a great team. Let's look at the movie Step Brothers. A comedy so obviously farcical, but there you had in fact two full grown men who were in fact bullied by whatever 5th graders or something. And you know what they did? They stopped walking past the school. Problem solved! They weren't bullied anymore and it wasn't an issue the rest of the movie. At the end they went back and beat up the kids, which we have to assume also solved the problem further. Two good solutions, but the first one outlines the fact that as an adult, with as much freedom as you have, you cannot be bullied unless you put yourself in the situation to interact with said bully. Simple as that. Not trying to victim shame or anything here, but if we're talking adults you have to take responsibility. Either assert yourself, avoid the situation, or you are complicit. Back to Jordan's teammates, if we assume he was this cruel tyrant psycho his teammates were free to demand a trade, opt out of their contracts, retire, or you know stay and suffer for rings. We know what happened. So did they all endure torturous season after season of harassment and belittlement or did teammates have spats and disagreements and this has all been blown out of proportion?

MVPs, finals MVPs, finals rings, scoring titles, defensive player of the year, first team defenses. Stats can change based off rules and the way the game is played. But when you are the best on offense, one of the best on defense, and one of the best winners. No comparison. LeBron is great, but misses in some areas.

And skip talking about the bucks won 60 games and birds celtics won 58 and thats why jordan failed because the east teams were winners. Hold up - lebrons teams have barely ever finished top of the east, you had the bulls and celtics at the top where bulls were always favourite and won what 60 odd games. Lebron wiped the floor with both of them. Then who else, atlanta with 3 all stars finished top lebron swept them, toronto finished top lebron swept them, pacers were a top team and the BEST team in the nba at the time without a doubt having 3 all stars and PG was a superstar then, beat defensive team also and lebron beat them back to back in game 7s. He beat the celtics with the big 4 who had won a title back to back yrs. He beat down the east when he wasnt even the favourite and dominated for 8 straight yrs not 6. Yet it was the Leastern conference because skip says it is. I urge you all to watch mark cuban vs skip bayless. Some of those teams you named (Bulls, Toronto) were #1 but nobody really thought they could beat, or were better than, LeBron's teams. The Pacers came outta nowhere, and between granger, pg and that center guy? They were young & legit. Played hard. Always tough on veterans. Lol didnt have the experience to deal with Miami in the end though. It all makes the story sound better, when in fact LeBron most times has had the best teams in a "weak east". Sure the Celtics were a powerhouse for two years straight. And in my opinion they were his toughest hurdle as a team, even when he went to Miami.

      Devin Harris Wrong. LeBron did not even made the playoffs in his first 2 years. You look at Jordan exiting the 1st rd but your guy did not even made the playoffs. What is weaker of the 2? 😂
      And when he went to the Finals with the Cavs, he had a 2x All Star Center help in Zydrunas Ilgauskas.
      In that Finals, LeBron averaged only 22ppg. Gooden and Gibson averaged 11-13ppg each. They may not be All Stars but they were solid players. With the other one having only a 9pt disparity vs LeBron. You call that no help?
      LeBron fans just want to make it appear that he made it all by himself. Exactly the same way they do it whenever he wins.

    • @devinharris591
      @devinharris591 Před 4 lety

      Joseph Ronald David and lebron made it to the finals 3 more times than Jordan what is the weaker of the 2?
      Really ilgauskas? He was only an all star because of lebron. Kinda like how draymond is only an all star because he’s on the warriors. You take draymond and him on a team eh we’re he’s the guy he would not be one. Same with ilgauskas. You take Pippen and have him wind up on another team instead of the bulls he still becomes an all star
      11-13 is not help lmao those are role playing numbers. It’s a team game so obviously other players are gonna score some points but if you think 11-13 points is help then you should probably watch more basketball before trying to have this discussion.
      And Jordan fans make it seem like MJ did everything but ignore his hall of fame coach and gm. Take lebron off that cavs and they became the worst in the league. Lebron left Miami and they have yet to get to the second round of the playoffs since. When Jordan left that bulls team they were a game away from making the finals. So yeah sure sounds like lebron did a lot of the heavy lifting.
