CZcams monetization rules are weird, like you can swear but not right away. What's their logic behind this?
Because generally people who click on the video watch at least the very beginning of the video. Most aren't still tuned in towards the end of the video, which is where you can swear and get away with it.

@@PDIcomics That never happened lol, Walter Day gave him the certificate asserting that. The plaque he was handed was simply to congratulate him on the first ever perfect score, Namco never designated him or endorsed him as ANYTHING. They literally made it all up.

@lass kinn I disagree, King of Kong brought Twin Galaxies into the mainstream, and the increased attention is probably the main factor why Twin Galaxies was sold. If King of Kong never happened, Walter Day would have died with Twin Galaxies still in his possession and would have only been worth what Billy Mitchell was paying for bandwidth costs to keep his fraudulent scores alive.

He (the "Infamous" Billy Mitchell) was recently seen on TV on AEW Dyanmite back on September 30th. What happened was that Miro (better known as Rusev) was prepping for Kip Sabian's wedding [to Penelope Ford] and Miro was playing with Kip Sabian until Sabian left and Miro was then joined by Billy Mitchell, ending with the two of them playing a game and Mitchell offering to help Miro.

The funniest part about this is this lawsuit would never have happened if it where not for TG having to do such a deep investegation to defend against Billy in the court.

From Karl's video, according to the terms of the contract of sale to Jace Hall, they gave "representation and warranty that [their] Database did not contain any unture or misleading statement of fact". Jace is alleging that not only did the TG database contain misrepresentation and fabricated information, that the former owners were the perpetrators of it. tl;dr, violation of terms of sale and warranty.
Second, that the former owners inflated and influenced the sale price and value of their company by A, fabricating scores and boosting the fame and appearance fee collections of valued players (conveniently also the co-owner) and high scorers in order to artificially inflate and misrepresent the value of the company and what they were selling; and B, purging the database of scores so the owners can reset the high scores and set their own, and selectively purging scores higher that those of favoured individuals (owners) so their own remain atop.
Unfortunate that Apollo caved (probably was vulnerable after the Viper drama), but so far, Karl is resisting Billy's legal threats. I hope he (and TG) go the distance.
I can just see Jace Hall now cutting news paper strips into the shape of $100 bills in order to determine how many gym bags it will take to carry away over $6 million dollars in cash!

Hey guys, I thought the Namco award was even worse...The way I understood is here was there and got an "award" for his pacman score, and then just claimed that "that" picture was him getting player of the century award but when zoomed in you see its that pacman award........ the picture was from farther away, and non hd camera so it was easy to lie about what he got handed to him lol

Also - the "award" in the Namco picture isn't even the same "award".
I do hope the integrity of Twin Galaxies can be restored/built so that we can have an accurate and official video game scoreboard. I by no means have any world records, but I put a few personal best scores on there and it is a fun hobby. It would be a shame to lose the ability to network and compete with other avid classic gamers.

When discussing "news" of video gaming it always seems like you spend more time on high score stuff but to the average audience out there are they following high scores more then speedruns? GDQ aside, the audience on twitch in retro gaming is WRs and I can't even think of seeing any high score attempts (other then some billy mitchell I looked at for curiosity). It just doesn't seem from my perspective like any of this is that big of deal anymore. ... as to the actual story the lawsuit won't be settled it will get thrown out.
