- She feared for her life when the campfire gets out of control and wild after an epic day of cane pole fishing. Mike and Frankie set out to camp on Silver Pasture and decided to go old school and use cane poles but of course they went a little bougie redneck too by bringing and Anker SOLIX C1000 PPS so they could run their tools and make coffee!
Anker SOLIX C1000 is a PPS that is lightweight, offers a quick charge time of 58mins, and is considerably smaller than other brand units that offer the same amount of power. Beautiful video, Frankie you will always remember this fishing adventure with Your Dad.I love fresh cooked up fish. I use to go fishing with my mom an dad when we lived in the country. Mom an Dad are fishing in heaven now. Wish I could eat bacon,I found out that the lower left half of my heart was grown together,ended up having to have open heart surgery. Now I can't eat bacon ,but I sure do love it still yet.

When I was growing up in Omaha we used to make our own poles and hit the Air Force Base Golf Course water traps. Sticks, kite string, hooks and little chunks of Styrofoam cups. One outing we got 19 Bluegill and one little catfish. I call that a good day.

For those that don't know.... Make SURE that any old wood you cut up for a fire is NOT treated wood. Once it gets old it is hard to tell sometimes. You don't want to breathe the smoke and certainly not cook over it.

You and Frankie were having a great time together camping out on your property doing some fishing and making smores! Most of all, you were making memories of a lifetime and that means a lot! She will not forget that you took the time to spend with her!

Mike tell Frankie what my dad use to tell the granddaughters. When they bring a boy over , you will be sitting on the porch with your shotgun. My dad did that to my niece when she was bringing her boyfriend over to meet him when he got the shotgun and was sitting on the porch. Well lol 😂 we never seen that boy again. lol 😂. Now my dad was joking but they did not know that. But it was so funny seeing that boy running down the road and never seeing him again

in my bug out bag i carry a spinning reel and a small fishing kit so all i have to do is find something to use as a pole .... so no its not hard to carry the stuff to make a fishing pole with you in a bug out bag ......but a cane pole is always a good option also !!!!!! a coffee maker on a camping trip ????? WHEN DIVAS GO GLAMPING !!!!! your supposed to make coffee the old fashioned way !!!

Mike, Great video. looks like you had fun but i only see one issue with the fire. It looked like those 2x4's were pressure treated. That is a no no if they were. The products they use to treat the wood put off harmful chemical's when burned that are really bad for you. Other than that it looked like a great time.
