That’s like saying “great let’s teach everyone to sing, that way everyone sounds the same” People learn to sing in the same way as everyone else (scales, arpeggios, major, minor, 1/2 notes, 8th notes, chest, voice and head resister etc) but NO ONE sounds the same. Even if everyone alive learned from Bob there is no way people CAN sound the same, especially in scat which is an improvisational art which can’t be repeated. It’s illogical to say so. Also the meaning of scatting is “expression” and for that everyone learns building blocks from other vocalists and from other musicians and makes them their own. If you think the meaning of scatting is “came from your mouth with ZERO reference to anybody else’s sounds ever made” then you don’t know what scatting is and know nothing about the history of scatting.
