4:30 AlSi is aluminum silicone. It’s used in the lining of the cylinders/cylinder heads I believe in order to reduce wear to cylinder walls and have tighter tolerances. My old CLK Mercedes with the 3.2 V6 had that
@D A Correct, Si being silicon, and silicone being something completely different lmao. My car has an engine like this too
If AlSi is an alloy, doesn't it have to use Metals and Metalloids, thus Silicon, instead of Silicone with is a composite on itself?
I find no hydrogen or oxygen in these kinds of Alloys, so it has to be Silicon.
As a major car enthusiast, I appreciate the effort you put into explaining the technical details when designing the engine, as I’m not sure very many people would have! Very well done, now I just have to come up with a check for Elon Musk’s ENTIRE net worth of around $192 billion to pay for this car!
It looks like a Polestar and Rolls Royce came together. I like it because it doesn't look that much like a Rolls but I Def wouldn't pay millions for it. I'd probably pay a solid 400k or less. The rear also looks like a Buick

Ford and GM co-developed a 10 speed automatic. That is what you'll find in the new F-150s.
There are 10 speeds, but no 10 speed Dual Clutch transmissions :P

Ngl i made a d-series variant in beamng with mods it has a top speed of 724 mph. It did the quarter mile in 5.2 seconds. Its the most insane thing thing ive ever built and ive made a lot of vehicles in beamng. Great video keep up the good work!

fords 10 speed is a triple clutch trans so i guess thats the closest to a 10 speed dual clutch also i think .175 is the lowest production drag coefficient so not to far from yours

I do agree that RR and Bentley are the best cars to point A to point B but only a short amount of time before you need to go to the gas station. Because of how heavy they are, they only get from 17-18mpg.
Half unrelated but I saw this first after fixing my Opera GX (it got corrupted and I fixed it, then waited about a day for it to update because it was finally able to after being fixed by me, then I went on CZcams using opera for the first time in ever and then I see this and a sponsor calling it good. Now that it’s running, it’s brilliant! Just make sure to keep an eye on it and have a VPN.)

The fastest production car is still a Bugatti. Their Chirone Super Sport. Really inspiring name if you ask me. It hit 304 mph on a track. But I wanted to say that it at least is a production car unlike the ssc tuatara that you mentioned which has sold only one unit.
The agera R is the most accessible of the three and with a valid airspeed going wind assisted and not.

Not only does rolls royce get you from A to B the most comfortable. they also do it quickly, and with style. I personally drive an audi S7 daily and while it is luxurious, faster than a rolls royce, and likely sounds better too. It definitely isn't a rolls royce, i'd much prefer a rolls royce as a daily driver. Just a shame im a broke man.

Honestly suprised luxury cars ARENT made out of steel or something of that nature. It just FEELS strong and durable. Cheap shits made of aluminum drink cans, fast stuff made out of carbon fibre, nice, luxury stuff made out of heavy strong steel.
Could you do a tutorial on how to design cars like you? I find your dedication and skills truly amazing and id love to learn how to properly design a car the same way you do in automation! Maybe even tell us the mods that you use for cutouts and stuff.

In regards to the gearbox - Mercedes features a 9 speed multi-clutch transmission so that's the highest in the market for double clutch technology and FORD-GM has a ZF8HP derived 10-speed auto with two extra ratios to I think ZF8HP70 or ZF8HP90 iirc.
Opera gx would be my favourite browser if they paid me too.

Lexus uses a dual clutch 10 speed sequential gearbox in the LC500h and the LC500.

It would be awful, torque modulation would be extremely difficult to get moderately smooth at those output numbers.. Anyone with a sense of drivetrain discernment wouldve added a torque converter..
Maybe it's a wet clutch instead of the common dry clutch. Newer wet ones are much better at stop and starts

12:1 compression is the way to have autoignition. 10:1 is about the limit for road-going gasoline-fueled engines.
