    “I didn’t get tickets because I had to get my coffee machine fixed” that about sums up all that’s wrong with modern Ireland

    Michael Lyster was a great GAA presenter. He is missed. He doesn't look 65.

    I saw Michael before the hurling final this year. He was doing a Q+A in the Arlington Hotel with DJ Carey, Babs Keating, Christy Heffernan etc. His voice is missed on the TV.

    There needs to be way more hype about the GAA in both football and hurling. Far more preview programs are needed on TV an Radio. GAA is in the Dark ages when it comes to promotion compared to coverage given to Premiership.

      What there NEEDS to be is a massive change in direction by the gaa. They have to realise that the gaa exists outside the M50...What’s the point in more exposure when the sport is a overfunded, loaded dice plaything for everyone inside the pale

    • @bmcb3064

      d costo exposing the game to a wider audience can give the sport massive advantages in the long run. The problem here is that you are exposing a product to a wider audience that isn’t very good. The problem isn’t the tv deals, or at least I don’t think so, I don’t really know much about tv broadcasting tbh...what I do know is that the gaa have financially targeted Dublin. This along with many other issues, including their blatant disgust and hatred of rural clubs will have the game rotting in the ground in 20 years.

      You should see professional footballs offerings. You can spend 6 figures to get a box in Anflied and have your own personal chef make you rare seafood and give you some of the world's rarest wines. You can then get spa treatment.
      Those people are wankers but they pay serious money so let them.

    Football is not interesting to watch anymore and until a rule is made to 1 stop players playing handball and make them kick from the 45 football is finished end of story

    • @eamonmac2751
      @eamonmac2751 Před 4 lety

      What ya mean, force them to kick once they reach the 45 line? That’s idiotic

    • @eamonmac2751
      @eamonmac2751 Před 4 lety +2

      d costo only idiots say that! Nothing wrong with the game. 5/6 counties take it seriously and the rest don’t. There own fault they have to resort to these tactics to beat the big teams

    • @emmettoliver1135
      @emmettoliver1135 Před 4 lety +2

      So you can't handpass inside the 45?? can a defender handpass inside the 45?? What an idiotic idea!! I've a better plan make Dublin just field 11 players..

    • @YewrMan
      @YewrMan Před 4 lety +1

      Yeah. We should change the rules to make it more 'interesting' and sell it to Amazon so they can tell us when to play the games. Cop on to yourself. There's good games and bad games and good defending and tactics don't have to be naive attacking, kicking when it's the wrong option, just to be suckered in to social media selling the lie for bandwagoners that sport has to be entertaining.
