Boot up times have everything to do with the drive speeds and nothing to do with the performance of a graphics card. Also, most computers by default are only in a hibernated state when powered off to reduce boot up times. To truly power off your computer, one would have to go to the BIOS to set the ErP state to S5. I did just that to prevent the RGB on my peripherals, RAM, CPU cooler and motherboard from lighting up after shut down.

I got a similar model, hes got an msi 30 series laptop. For the most part its silent, but if u hit fn + up arrow you can manually blast the fans as soon as the keyboard lights up.

Im getting my first gaming laptop, an Rtx 3060 asus tuf f15 next week and i couldnt wait, after years of playing on a office laptop i was using for 6 years where i can only play minecraft, pvz and microsoft games... i cant explain my happiness and excitement 😊
I have an RTX 4090 MSI suprim x, amazing card. I got it down to 23°c while just sitting on the home screen with a couple applications (no games, nothing heavy) open in the background at 65% fan speed. I keep them at this all the time as keeping your parts cool makes them last longer, and the noise is extremely minimal. When my GPU fans are off, the loudest things are my front 3 Corsair case fans, and even those are almost dead silent. When I put the fans to 100% I can get it even lower, I haven't tested how low but I'd guess pretty damn low. It however, is definitely loud as they spin at 3500 rpm.
Pc users: "oh no, it's running at 75°c I need to close down some programs and let it idle to cool it off a bit" Laptop users: "I bought the laptop, I'm gonna use the whole laptop"
lmao this happened to yesterday Found an osu crash map, it indeed made osu crash. Had 37597 objects and the star rating was 3758*. the guy who made this probably put a hundred notes on each individual tick and copy and pasted it. That made my gpu go up to 70°C and i was like "calm down"
PC users: "oh no, it's running at 75°C, I need to get a better cooler." If you get bad CPU temps at max load something just isn't built right. Either the case has bad airflow, is standing in an airflow restricted space or the cooler isn't up to par. Prebuilts commonly have both terrible cases and an inadequate cooler. For DIY builds, if you have to close programs to cool your PC off you probably did something very wrong.
My laptop used to get to 95° C everytime I run something remotely heavy. So I opened up my laptop and checked the vents, there was piles of dust in it lmao. Lesson: clean your vents, my temps don't even go above 80 now with fairly quiet fans.

I got a similar model, hes got an msi 30 series laptop. For the most part its silent, but if u hit fn + up arrow you can manually blast the fans as soon as the keyboard lights up.

Im getting my first gaming laptop, an Rtx 3060 asus tuf f15 next week and i couldnt wait, after years of playing on a office laptop i was using for 6 years where i can only play minecraft, pvz and microsoft games... i cant explain my happiness and excitement 😊

I have an RTX 4090 MSI suprim x, amazing card. I got it down to 23°c while just sitting on the home screen with a couple applications (no games, nothing heavy) open in the background at 65% fan speed. I keep them at this all the time as keeping your parts cool makes them last longer, and the noise is extremely minimal. When my GPU fans are off, the loudest things are my front 3 Corsair case fans, and even those are almost dead silent. When I put the fans to 100% I can get it even lower, I haven't tested how low but I'd guess pretty damn low. It however, is definitely loud as they spin at 3500 rpm.

Found an osu crash map, it indeed made osu crash. Had 37597 objects and the star rating was 3758*. the guy who made this probably put a hundred notes on each individual tick and copy and pasted it.
That made my gpu go up to 70°C and i was like "calm down"

If you get bad CPU temps at max load something just isn't built right. Either the case has bad airflow, is standing in an airflow restricted space or the cooler isn't up to par.
Prebuilts commonly have both terrible cases and an inadequate cooler. For DIY builds, if you have to close programs to cool your PC off you probably did something very wrong.

My laptop used to get to 95° C everytime I run something remotely heavy. So I opened up my laptop and checked the vents, there was piles of dust in it lmao.
Lesson: clean your vents, my temps don't even go above 80 now with fairly quiet fans.
