Does it have a auto start/stop and a 3 piston pump like the 1322ts? Trying to see the difference between the two. I noticed the GPM is lower on the 1622TS
Yes, the 1622TS has the exact same 3 piston pump. The only difference is the angle of the wobble place inside, which you can't see without taking it apart. Yes, it has total stop. Yes, the GPM is slightly lower than the 1322, but has a higher PSI, so actual cleaning units are about the same. However, everyone has their preference. Personally, I (Mike Z) use the 1122TST, which is the same PMU as the 1322. I like it because of the built in hose reel, chem injector and multiple lance extensions. I use it weekly for car washing and then around the house as needed. If you are going to wall mount, both the 1622TS and the 1322 are excellent choices. If you are washing more than 5 cars a day, then you'll probably want to explore the 2020PMUSR from DK which is a 2020 pump and motor 110v 20 amp machine. It's a pre-built wall mount system with a hose, detail kit and foam cannon. If you have additional question, please give us a call and speak with Josh Lee or Patricia Webb. Can you hook up a hot or cold water source, or is this unit used with a cold water inlet only?
Yes. All Kranzle "cold water" machines can have hot water put through them up to 140 degree F or 60 degree C.
I notice so many detailers using the 1622 and I have one also now. I rebuilt it and works like new. I know you mentioned something about not using a quick connect for the water inlet. can you elaborate why as I see so many do it. thx
Hi. The main reason is quick disconnects tend to leak, even a small drip. This allows air into the system and can result in cavitation. This is for the water in line. Using quick disconnects at the water OUT low points is OK.

If I’m running it from a portable water tank should I use a water pump?

Hi, can the kranzle be used with a tankless hot water heater before it?
Sure. Just make sure the GPM is more than your Kranzle. If you machine is 2 gpm, the water flow has to match. Kranzle can handle heat up to 140 degree Fahrenheit.
Will this pull water from a portable tank?
Yes. All Kranzle machines are self priming. They can even draw water vertically. How far depends on machine. Of course, your inlet hose has to be the right size. Also, do NOT use those "flex" hoses that shrink up. They cause problems even under pressure.

Yes, that is GOOD advice, especially if using commercially. We recommend at least once a week.
