  • Josh Lee explains how the control piston, a mechanical part, can sometimes cause the electrical components of the total stop function not to work. Technically, it is a "mechanical" issue, but may present as an electrical problem.

    brand new unit with this issue right out of the box,....

      Sorry to hear this. Sometimes the trip from Germany to the USA to customers can cause problems. Given the unit is new, this should be a warranty issue. Please call us to resolve. 800.544.1188 M-F 9-5 EST.

    Helpful but so frustrating that the video doesn't show the actual mechanical part... camera angle is bad here

    Josh. Very helpful vid and may be the cause of the problem I am having on my 1122 right now. However, just a suggestion that you lower the camera angle a bit so we can actually see you working on the specific area. These vids are really helpful to the DIY'er who doesn't want to send an 80 lb. machine to a dealer to fix it. Thank you!

      Thanks for the feedback. Will relay to Josh. Glad it helped. Noted on the camera angle. Hopefully the close ups gave the details you needed.

      @@kranzleusa5846 Problem solved! Motor would not shut off. Likely some build-up of dirt or minerals on the piston or in the piston housing. Vid was super helpful to diagnose source of problem and also with order of the parts (brass washer, O ring, etc.). Thanks Josh! Shout out also to Patricia at tech support who spent way more time with me than I deserve!

      Hmm. What kind of sound does it make when "NOT FULLY stopped"? Got any video? Please do send a tech support ticket at KranzleUSA.com or give us a call. 800.544.1188

    My Kranzle doesn’t shut off when I release the trigger, when I pull the trigger I can hear what I believe is either the motor or the pump turn on, but then when I release it, something stays on. It isn’t as loud as when I’m pulling the trigger so I feel something is shutting off, but the Kranzle isn’t completely shutting off. I followed the steps to this video but I’m still having issues. The gauge stays at 0 the entire time, even when the trigger is pulled and released.

      I slept on it & the machine is in perfect working order now lol. However, I made the mistake of wiping off what I thought was random gunk from the control piston & now think it was what you guys use as lubricant. I heard in another video you guys use Vaseline as lube, can I use that here as well?

    I have a question about my HD7... I don't know if it's a problem or not. When no nozzle is connected to the gun, there's basically no pressure. Is that supposed to be the case? When I connect the gun (I have a Mosmatic) the pressure doesn't go over 1000psi, even when the pressure adjustment is maxed out. Is that normal?

    • @kranzleusa5846
      @kranzleusa5846  Před 7 měsíci

      Hi. Technically speaking the pump only MOVES water at whatever GPM. The NOZZLE orifice size is what creates the pressure. It's like a balloon. When you pinch the end, the air stream pressure increases. What size nozzle do you have on your Mosmatic gun?

    Hi!
    My Kränzle 1150t just ”humz” when i put the power on. Then after aprox 10 sec the power button switches back to off. Do u guys have any clue what could be the problem?
    When the machine is turned off, water is comming from the pistol when I push the handle. Oscar from Sweden😊

      A hum usually means the capacitor is shot. Super easy to replace. Here's a video:czcams.com/video/aE_s1wv4ipI/video.html

    Can this cause a fuse to blow when you release the trigger from your gun after starting the washer

    • @kranzleusa5846
      @kranzleusa5846  Před 6 měsíci

      Releasing the trigger turns OFF the power.. Can't see how that would cause a fuse to blow.

    Would this issue with the control piston cause any short cycling issues?
