    • @vlastimil-furst
      @vlastimil-furst Před 3 měsíci

      Yeah, quite deep. The song has a very nice contrast between the happy part ("everybody's going to the party") and the most intense part that comes afterwards: "Where the F**k are you?", a question to those who knew what it's all about and didn't join the party (even though "everyone" is going).
      I heard a good analysis that in the third time "everyone's going to the party" chorus you are supposed to feel a bit uneasy that it is all a lie and if you still enjoy the party, the sudden realization catches you off-guard as they break it at an unexpected time with "where the f**k are you?"

    sorry to do this lol This song is about the business behind war, and how privileged politicians start them, but expect the poor to fight them the party being the Iraqi war and the lies when we all know it was over the oil and also 911 and the govn allowing bankers to use pensions

      they send the poor" a bit out dated as we have had an all volunteer military for the last 50 years. No one is being forced.

      @@bugvswindshield Instead they use economic coercion to "Encourage" the poor to enlist. Promising a full scholarship works a lot better when daddy can't pay your way into a good school.
