When levy said “a colossal 1.5M youtube channel” it just hit me that levi only has under 50k subs. Its sad to see such high quality content receive only a a few thousand views.

He's growing suuper fast though. The algorithm shone on him a while ago and boosted the shit out of the channel, and with PogChamps2 there's gonna be a continuous influx too. 100k before the year easy, I'm calling that.

That tip at 2:54 makes so much sense. I'm guessing the logic is that since we're trading our dark square bishop, it would make sense to open up our own light squares for our light square bishop. Plus, it might also weaken any attacks by our opponent's dark square bishop. Thanks for the tip man and keep up the great videos

I only know the very basics of chess so this really is interesting to me and I feel like I have actually learned something. Definitely subscribed, my partner used to play a lot too even in bigger competitions but hasn't in years either for similar reasons to Connor so maybe I can learn and play with him.
The camaraderie between these two is great to watch. :o)

I'm sad he wasn't in PogChamps 3. He would've made the tourney a bit more balanced. It seems this time there are a lot of experienced players vs a lot of brand new players.
Yeah true, charlier, Xqc and ludwig we're probebly the only ones who where very Balanced against eachother.
I used to run an M-Audio microphone and it was actually pretty good for a starting microphone.

Unpopular opinion but connor gets the moves right but he always doubt himself so maybe u shld like let him play 3 moves withoht saying anything then analyse immediately with him

I really don't think players below 1600 should be playing 10 minute games with a coach. There's a lot to do in each and every position and a low rated player won't do those things quickly. They are likely to even ignore some things if they feel pressured on time.
This is an issue I see with other CZcams chess coaches too.
No, it's informative as it shows what type of moves one does during time control.
The pogchamps tournament is 10 min +1 and they´re all practicing for that but i agree classical is great to improve your chess but you might flag in 10 minute if u get too used to that format
10 mins is not that bad imho. Not classical but still you have a nice amount of time to look for tactics
@@deepsgnips Lower rated players need more time to find those tactics though. And then to talk through the position with their coach is going to each so much more time. 10 minutes just isn't a good coaching format.
