I was robbed at gunpoint when I was young with my family in a fast food restaurant. The guys came out of the bathroom in ski masks with guns and started yelling "everyone get on the ground!" And the young girl working in the back said "Hey! Craig's here!" Craig, who was fired the night before apparently, shouted "Shut Up!" and continued to rob the place. He was caught the next day at his house. They didn't even have to check the cameras or fingerprints, everyone there was like "Yeah, it was Craig. He picked up the headset and started telling the people in the drive thru to leave and knew where all the buttons were too. It was definitely Craig."

Funniest part to me is the customer patiently waiting so he can get his pizza and then still expecting to get a pizza after the robbery was over. Them telling him "the store is closed" and his face saying "What? You get robbed and I can't get my pie? Ridiculous!"
I think the funniest part is that the police did not show up in this time frame. I don't blame them (even speeding it does take time to get somewhere) but the fact this guy just walked everywhere just showed how slow a response actually is.
that's why it's infuriating when people are punished for hurting or killing home invaders in some places (not naming names), because they just expect people to cower in fear until the police arrive 5 hours later after your shit has been stolen or your entire family has been maimed or killed... and it's not like most homes have cameras to capture the guy's face

@@littlefrank90 yeah they don't check for fingerprints or anything on most criminal cases. Especially if there's CCTV and recordings of what happened. Fingerprints don't do anything if you aren't in the database. And even if you are in the database it doesn't give them a GPS tracker of your exact location. It's not this movie magic where you find a fingerprint and are able to track down the suspect to a remote region of Alaska.
The funniest part is that most pizza company’s policy is to totally comply if they are robbed. So all he had to do was ask for the key and they would have given it to him.

I worked at LC in college, and was robbed at gunpoint when we were close to closing. I was terrified cause i was working the front, but I opened the register and safe for him, and my coworkers in the back called the cops, and no one got hurt. They caught him 3 days later after a massive string of robberies, and he's still in jail 8 years later. I ended up getting a raise from my boss for complying with him and helping to make sure everyone was safe
Fun fact as someone that has worked retail and fast food there's a "don't be a hero policy" if you're getting robbed you comply. You DO NOT try to stop the robber. Probably not because they care about your life but because if you die trying to save the money your family can sue them for more than what was stolen.

Yes it would be the morally right and all but if the robber is armed you shouldnt try to stop him unless you are trained to handle those types of situations and/or you are 101% confident in your abilities to stop him. It just isnt worth it imo. And if you really fuck up badly you can potentially make the situation worse so its just best to comply and let him do his thing. You can still do the right thing AND not have to risk your life by reporting the robber to the police and try to help with the investigation as much as you can so the robber can potentially be caught and get punished. But that is if the robbers immediete intention is not to kill anyone. Like atleast i assume most of the time the robbe just wants to steal whatever he is stealing and doesnt intend to kill anyone unless someone intervines with his plans. With regards to the comments on the employees not fighting for Little Caesars and just recording the dude, that's absolutely correct. I once worked for Costco, and they instructed us that no way in hell were we to apprehend anyone stealing stuff from the store, that our safety was what mattered, not some stuff. I'm not sure if a place like Little Caesar's would agree, but I am happy that employees were looking out for themselves first.

While nobody really looks at the footage, anything and everything the customer can do WILL be recorded on camera in case they try shit like this. And it's not like they're hidden either. My local Little Caesars has 3 cameras watching the front. 1 is outside the door facing the parking lot so your license plate gets recorded. And 2 are watching the front. If you are down bad and need money that badly go to your local college campus and bust into cars. You know how many dumb college students leave backpacks, labtops, etc in their car.
Literally every place you walk into you can assume you're being recorded. Lot of people got fired from a place I used to work at because they stole shit that got caught on camera. One of them was even a manager. Idiots. It's true nobody is sifting through every day's worth of footage all the time, but if they suspect something happened at a certain time, all they have to do is check the footage and see what was recorded at that time.

I was terrified cause i was working the front, but I opened the register and safe for him, and my coworkers in the back called the cops, and no one got hurt. They caught him 3 days later after a massive string of robberies, and he's still in jail 8 years later. I ended up getting a raise from my boss for complying with him and helping to make sure everyone was safe

Yes it would be the morally right and all but if the robber is armed you shouldnt try to stop him unless you are trained to handle those types of situations and/or you are 101% confident in your abilities to stop him. It just isnt worth it imo. And if you really fuck up badly you can potentially make the situation worse so its just best to comply and let him do his thing. You can still do the right thing AND not have to risk your life by reporting the robber to the police and try to help with the investigation as much as you can so the robber can potentially be caught and get punished.
But that is if the robbers immediete intention is not to kill anyone. Like atleast i assume most of the time the robbe just wants to steal whatever he is stealing and doesnt intend to kill anyone unless someone intervines with his plans. So its just best to keep it that way.

I once worked for Costco, and they instructed us that no way in hell were we to apprehend anyone stealing stuff from the store, that our safety was what mattered, not some stuff.

These places are packed up the ass with cameras. While nobody really looks at the footage, anything and everything the customer can do WILL be recorded on camera in case they try shit like this. And it's not like they're hidden either. The cameras are all in plain sight for the most part lol
My local Little Caesars has 3 cameras watching the front. 1 is outside the door facing the parking lot so your license plate gets recorded. And 2 are watching the front. If you are down bad and need money that badly go to your local college campus and bust into cars. You know how many dumb college students leave backpacks, labtops, etc in their car.

Literally every place you walk into you can assume you're being recorded. Lot of people got fired from a place I used to work at because they stole shit that got caught on camera. One of them was even a manager. Idiots. It's true nobody is sifting through every day's worth of footage all the time, but if they suspect something happened at a certain time, all they have to do is check the footage and see what was recorded at that time.
