I realized joining dating apps was one of the dumbest things I've done as an adult. I know the numbers are skewed, it depletes my time, and affects my mental health. I've deleted them all. Thanks for this video.
I had common sense enough to realize that no decent girl would use a dating app and the numbers are like 1000 guys for 1 girl. If the girl was attractive, she wouldn't need dating apps.
Dating apps, hook up culture, social media were invented to destroy relationships, marriages and dating. It is to keep us single and selfish. By the time we get to 60s we look in the mirror old and alone and realize we will likely die off alone in our homes (maybe someone will find the body after a few weeks or months)?? No kids, no partner, it is scary... All this garbage culture is to keep us alone and easily controlled and in financial hardship as one single income is no longer enough. This was all by design... few families, children and a poorer and degraded citizen base.
The only winner on the apps are the developers. The algorithm is setup to keep you on the app and take your money and time.

I am a woman watching this, and he is so right. But just to say I have been catfished, ghosted, and sent many rude and weird messages from people online. I think a lot of women who are genuine like me have a hard time trying to meet someone on a dating app. Anyway I deleted all my dating apps, working on myself now. Great video.

I’m 25 and it’s a flat out headache trying to even have a conversation with most of the women on the apps. Even the ugly ones have narcissistic problems.
The majority of women I run into on there are filled with daddy issues, pill popping mental issues or they randomly go off about their ex and how he did all this bad stuff to her. I’m at a point where I’d rather just go my own way, build my life without women in the picture at all for a long time.
Luckily my ex broke up with me and told me she had been diagnosed with depression months before she left me… she did me a favor 🙏🏼
The key to dating apps is also get them off the app asap and plan a date. Stop being a pen pal
I’m 50, I’ve never been on a dating app, but I was on Reddit in a lonely chat. It was so sad, it was mostly filled with young men being so down ridden because they can’t meet nice girls, and the apps are brutal. I had no clue just how toxic these apps are. Thank you for helping me understand. They were so laser focused on being losers they couldn’t hear any advice, especially from an old gal like me. They need to hear a voice like this. I think one of the issues with young men these days is social media and constantly getting ignored by women on apps. It makes them feel like crap.

I always do well with ladies when I go out. But I have never had tons of success with online dating. I couldn’t figure out why. Then I realized how it all worked and got off of them. Dating apps provide an opportunity for both men and women to put on a facade and portray themselves as whoever they want to be. The filthy rich millionaire with a private jet could be a creepy catfish who lives in a trailer park.

I agree with everything you've said here. I think online dating is about the most toxic, soul-destroying and devaluing activity a man can engage in. Most people are just on it for validation and it has given rise to some pretty awful behaviour on both sides. Trying to pass yourself off as a confident man and using a dating app is like trying pass yourself off as a world class chef and only cooking microwave meals. While online dating might be easy, convenient and readily available, it's often very disappointing. If a woman rejects you in real life, at least you can walk away safe in the knowledge you were confident enough to try and (win or lose) you still stand out from the others.

Let me tell y’all, this man is right. Life will literally pass you by, when your chasing these women and on these dating apps. I’ve had tinder, bumble, hinge, badoo, all of them since 2019.. and I’ve slept with MANY women off these apps. I’ve met good ones too, but 95% of women you meet on dating apps are either catfishes ( they look NOTHING like their pictures ), Have children, Drama, trauma, overall just damaged goods. I recently deleted all the dating apps off my phone because it’s literally a waste of time. These apps become addicting after a while, which is what the app creators are counting on, so you can continue to spend your hard earned money on Subscriptions and profile boosts, hoping you’ll get more female matches.. this is what they are counting on! Girls don’t even have to pay like we do.. it’s all setup for females to boost their ego. Girls on these apps are mad entitled. One chick got upset at me and unmatched from me because I asked her what does she bring to the table.. a lot of women on these apps are OVERWEIGHT and have the audacity to be demanding and entitled.. guys stay off these dating apps. Your self esteem will literally sky rocket. Half the girls on these apps just want attention and validation.. absolutely no intention on meeting you..a lot of them don’t even respond when you match with them.. complete waste of time. It’s pathetic swiping back and forth waiting on a match.. your wasting time. Listen to this man, STAY OFF THE DATING APPS and focus on you and the women will too, believe me!

I love everything you say here! My girlfriend and I were on the same dating app at the same time for a while and said the same things about men that you are saying about women! It just illuminates for me how toxic dating apps are for men and women and these apps are creating a great divide between men and women IMO! I was crushed at how no guys really made any attempt to get to know me. Put me into depression! And I would try to get to know him via chatting and suddenly he would disappear. I drove 15 miles to meet a guy and when I wouldn't go home with him he got mad. I never heard from him again.. which was good. I've been off dating apps for years. I tried a few, and "maybe" met 2-3 quality gals over a period of about 1 year. I honestly prefer to meet women out in real life. I meet a lot of people (friends, gals, etc) just hanging out doing things I like to do. Do this and you'll naturally meet like minded people. If you have the balls to walk up to someone in real life, then you already have a massive advantage over other guys. Just sayin..

I also deleted all my apps. They have the same developers as slot machines. I wasn't getting anywhere. It's been hard but like any addiction, 1 day at a time. Decided to go back to offline approaches and just improving myself.

💯 per usual Shaun. I’ve deleted the dating apps and it forces me to meet women in real life if I wanna get laid. I’m putting in the work and getting more social. Making more dude friends and meeting potential dates alike. My best tip is to go on a hike or someone where there’s a bunch of people and say hi to literally everyone. This teaches you that when the vast majority doesn’t give a fuck about you, it doesn’t impact you in any way at all and vice versa you don’t get too high if you meet a baddie. It will empower you to become the best version of yourself. Trust me!

Thank you for this video! I have used a lot of dating apps in the past and had some success and never problems getting matches or dates, but it never consolidated like a real relationship. Just some sex here and there and a lot stress, missing out on improving myself and hitting rock bottom with respect to self-confidence.

I am a 60+ woman who has spent far too much time on these sites. It's the same for both genders. It's a colossal waste of time and energy .Really so addictive and disappointing and devastating in the end. I hate to admit how many times I was rejected, if men even showed any interest at all. Some just left me their phone number thinking I was going to call. Zero effort, no interest in my profile, to see if we had any of the same interests and compatibility. I initiated many times but men don't even bother to read my message. How humiliating is that?? Men seem to be looking for 'a good' time, especially with much younger ladies, not serious companionship, with women of their own age, who are attractive, independent, active, have alot of life experience to share but nobody's interested in us. Many don't even post a photo, or a blurry one, from twenty years ago, even in my age group! It's a minefield and not for the fainthearted.I got stood up plenty of times, men were arrogant and belligerent towards me, thinking they had it all sewn up, thinking women are desperate. Only recently got off, for good. It's hard cause there are not alot of ways to meet in person ,especially as we age. It's a two way street, on both sides. Some of the most narcissistic, crazy, and trauma filled women are on the dating apps because no one wants them in real life. I've dated 3 women off of dating apps and all 3 after a few months turned into an absolute nightmare once their true colors were revealed.

For all the genuine guys out there, if you do match with a female, most of the woman are far from emotionally stable. They carry insecurities or are hungup on situations from their past, that you had no involvement with, and you'll be definitely stigmatised by them due to this, they won't see you as a separate individual, no matter how many reassurances you provide them with, you could have the total dossier.
I'm far from unfeeling or superficial, however you will be dealing with unrepairable damaged goods. As little, as 1% will lead to the happy ever after.
