- Riders of Charity (ROC) was founded in 2019 following the death of my mother from Alzheimer's disease. I felt I needed to help raise money for the charity Alzheimer's Society and play my part in helping to fund research into better treatments and maybe one day a cure.
In 2021 ROC embarked on our maiden voyage, a 3000 mile ride from Land's End to John O'Groats that took in the most twisty and challenging roads I could find. In 2021 our chosen charities were Alzheimer's Society and Mind UK, all money raised would be split equally between them. Despite being our first adventure and having not built up a huge following yet, we raised £8826.
ROC start a new campaign every year and raise money by organising a few small ride outs and one BIG adventure. It is open to all bikers and all we ask is that you donate to the cause if you join.
Our 2022 campaign is raising money for;

Great thing is no CBT necessary. If you have a car licence
Nice to see a fellow tricity fan. I also play the nod game and see who nods back lol
That is the perfect ode to Toots (and an accurate account of the MW125 owning experience). It’s by no means the perfect machine - but gosh are they lovable.
I miss Toots still. Great choice of first bike.
Great
There aren't enough videos about the Tricity out there. I think it's because a lot of young people wouldn't be caught dead on them. That's a pity. They are the only bike I will ever buy having owned one.
Brilliant machines 👌👌
I have just put a deposit on one. I only ever read good review about them I hope you keep well my friend. Happy riding and film making.
You will not regret it - I love mine to bits. Yes I’ve thought about upgrading, but never at the expense of my tricity 125
How are you getting on with it?
@@ROCmotorbike very well, the engine lightt comes on now and then but its under warranty so it will go back. Other than that it's great
My mates ride Yamaha Tricity bikes, one on a 125 and the other a 300. I seriously considered one but right now I'm heavily invested in a Honda Forza 125. Enjoy the ride! More importantly stay safe!
Forza is a decent bike, comfy. Ride safe, dude
Pressure drop
May I ask where did you get the decals for the tricity? After some for mine.
Most of them came from Ebay but some from Amazon. Just whack in Tricity decals or TriCity decals into google :-)
@Riders of Charity (Motorbike Adventures) thank you, just need to find the right colours now.
Charity rides aren't quite as stupid as charity marathon runs. A shame Yamaha didn't put a 200cc in the same frame
It was built for city commuting with a 300cc version in a bigger frame for longer distances. I don't see a place for a 200. Best bike I ever owned.
Time to hand to someone else and perhaps get the bug to bite them.
