- Taking a look at Yamaha's 3 wheeled scooter offering, the TriCity 300, which in some country's can be ridden with just a regular car license. This was my first experience on one of there 3 wheeled machines and it was interesting to say the least.

Riding motorcycles for 50 yrs from 90 cc to 1400 cc suzukis srill have bmw r850r vespa gts300 got one of these first few rides didn't like it then took it for 150 mile run brilliant very comfortable 90+ mpg very stable on all roads handling is as good as my bmw weight is only noticed first couple miles no problems with stand assist once you realise how to use it if you hit it when bike is upright you don't notice it going of you don't know it has two wheels at any time but one test ride will not let you know how good it is very good for nipping though city traffic same width as my vespa gts300 mirror to mirror just looks wide 100% recommend loves the twisty roads here in northern ireland

Had a test ride on one. For me it felt unnerving. I'm used to zipping through traffic. It felt clumsy to me. Great video Alex🛵

143 km/h with mine on the highway. My Tricity is blue, may be that's the reason !

Looking for something bigger than my current commuter (PCX150) for commuting, but something small enough to filter through traffic. Wondering about this and other 250-400 options. Have a 2018 Tmax 530 DX, and it's too big for filtering though a lot of tight traffic. 110 kilometres round trip. Any suggestions?
If you want something small for the city that can also do a bit of long distance riding tbh the Zontes M310 is the perfect fit (check my channel for a video on it) I don't know if it's available where you live.
I have one, awesome for urban riding. Useless on highway, struggles to cruise above 55 mph.
May - december I have done 7000kms, @ max 125km like Alex, most of that was pure joy 👌. That yama was made for car drivers, like me. That was my 1st ever scooter/bike/threewheeler, I learn from zero how to even ride bike on that 239kgs thing.

I have short legs so I didn't mind the low seat height but would have liked a bit more space to stretch out.

Someone said it is a tall bike and intimidating comparing with piaggio mp3 300/400.
Does it feel like you have a flat tire at low speed ? Some comments were like that..
What would you choose yamaha or piaggio on 3wheels?

Nice review. ALL motorcycles counter steer in order to turn, even at low speeds. It would have been useful to demonstrate the suspension lock a little more, because I guess it takes getting use to, and I see that your steering got wobbly when you first set off after it unlocked. It looks to be fast enough, but I agree about the screen. Why do manufacturers continually make screens that do not properly protect you from the wind? Seems crazy to me.
It unlocked a lot faster then I was expecting so you have to be quick of the line, it takes some getting used to.

Hello please i wanna ask you about your st because i interested to buy one and i saw all your videos and your trip and it was amazing and make me ask what kind of oil engine you use as here in egypt they use a 1000 kilo engine oil
10w40 Sym branded oil. You could use motul 10w40 scooter expert it's really good, or valvoline, just about any good quality 10w40 will work great in Sym scooter.

@@ebramadly859 tall people usually find the jet14 more comfortable, but go do a dealer and sit an both and you can decide which one is better for you.

does the yamaha tricity slow down when is going uphill with two people?
I am 1.75. About the slowing down probably depends on the hill depends on the weight of the people. Haven't tried it.

What is the mpg on this ?
I wasn't able to test that, maybe some owners can enlighten us.
Some reviews say you can get 70 to 80 mpg (imperial), that’s pretty frugal.
I have never ridden a two wheeler. Will it be easy to ride a tricity ?
Not really, you need practice.
My idea motorcycle should be two wheels only, I never tried 3 wheels but maybe one day
