    Just wanted to point out that you serve a d'elightfull review, on heavy city traffic (which is very demanding for the rider) Congrats!

    Hi Alex and thanks for this new video ! Yamaha D’elight 125 scooter is a sensible purchase for those whose primary playground is the city. It offers a harmonious blend of practicality, style, and economy, making it a compelling choice for the urban rider. While it may not cater to the adrenaline rush of high-speed pursuits, it stands as a reliable and chic ally for the everyday journey. In essence, the D’elight 125 is not just a mode of transport; it’s a lifestyle choice for the modern commuter seeking simplicity, efficiency, and a touch of flair in their daily travels. Personally I consider that is to expensive for what it is offering but for sure that it has it's niche of customers as long as the model launched in 2021 is still in production today ! Best regards to you and to all your subscribers !

    Much better value than the electric scooter. Nice style Scooter. I personally turn off my stop/start. Wears out the engine quicker. Great video Alex 🙏🇹🇭

    Have rented the bike before. My experience is the bike is small & agile to suitable for city traffic. Not recommend for highway ride it way underpowered. The combine brake is only on the rear brake lever, the front brake leaver still work independently.

    Wondered why I've never seen a D'Elight on the road here in the UK, then I checked the price - £3200! That's a about £400 more than a Suzuki Address or a Sym Fiddle, and almost the same as the 14hp Piaggio Medley.

      It's sad that so few manufacturers offer 125s that exploit the full power capacity of 15hp

    Another awedome video! Its price point rests upon its name, "Yamaha." The start-stop feature is a bit unnecessary (in my opinion) for a low end scooter. I guess that and its name, maybe in the manufacturer's opinion, justifies its 3k price tag. If they did something about the mirrors, bigger wheels and nicer shocks and keep the price at 2,700 would make it a helluva bargain, but then again maybe I am expecting too much. Nevertheless its a good little machine as it is for getting around town. Plenty of storage under the seat and add a top box in the back and you have yourself a little work horse with plenty of storage. If I was buying a 125cc here in Greece and especially on the traffic congested island where I live I would very much consider the D'elight. Then again the SYM Symphony ST (Donnie's younger cousin lol) with a 33ltr top box perhaps the best choice for a city scooter.

      @RideWithAlex  Před měsícem +1

      As a city scooter the Symphony ST is hard to beat when you really start puting everything on paper. This was a nice ride but I'm still keeping my ST200 :))

    • @alexandrosmp1
      @alexandrosmp1 Před měsícem

      @@RideWithAlex Absolutely! The ST 200 is the best selling scooter on the market. It services a person's needs in every respect. Had I purchased a bike from the beginning it would have been an ST200 and kept it.

    Can you please tell the difference between smaller and bigger diameter size wheels in terms of riding? It is such a deal breaker a smaller size? Maybe it is a good subject for a future video to explain all the pros and cons for a small wheel and a big wheel and how the size affects/improves riding.
    Thanks!

      There's a lot to talk about and it would make for an entire video, during the winter when I have more free time I'll try to do a video on the subject.

    It does make you wonder why small wheels are still standard with city scooters? Roads in SE Asia and India are not brilliant. Yet most manufacturers still seem to like small wheels.

    Too much money for this small shit !!
    Once again the so -called (good motor companies) have taken the air minds and sell what they want! These 10 'wheels do not even run for trolleys in the supermarket! Fortunately there are Asian countries and you can buy decent prices!
