Iâm excited to watch your video! Thank you đ§đ
If you use simple logic,
With assertive and Turbulent personalities,
It's no longer 16-personalities. It's 32 personalities.
The A and the T make a big difference. I don't really know how to explain it; I just know that they make huge difference. I guess As can come across as more intimidating for one.
I, personally, am all bark and no bite in most situations. I'll call the cops on a friend if they break the law, otherwise I'm pretty harmless.
Edit: I'm an ENFJ-T.
@@flutenanyidk1806 I think A and T should indeed be considered when youre trying to understand your personality, but when it comes to typing yourself using mbti you should use cognitive functions or at least the enneagram, using the neurotic scale will make it more confusing imo
Yes. They should call it the 32 personalities.
I think it's a good thing to have the "A" and the "T" in it, but not necessary. I think of it as an extra information, more like a bonus information for those who use that specific site. - INTP-T (still kinda awkward having two "T"s tho-)
@@heyyod8488 The more information, the better. I like having the information, but wish it was more plainly expressed. So much needless mysticism with many of these tests. Also hello, fellow INTP.
What I got from this-
Assertive = Chill
Turbulent = No Chill

@@atomiccritter6492 not really

That sounds great.
Everyone saying it would be cool till it gets to the INTP just sitting playing video games đ¶
So basically:
A - has their life together
T - a mess
Its more like... A is mentally stable while T is not. But if you are mentally stable that doesn't mean that you can't procrastinate haha
@@sun-wo9vp yeah pretty much
No. A is more self-assured but s/he might not try hard to improve.
T is self conscious but s/he is continuously trying to improve.
So, the point is one needs to maintain a balance between A and T.
So T is the perfect letter after all (Trainwreck).

Could you please do a video on social anxiety vs introversion? I thought I used to be an extrovert and now Iâm introverted, but as my mental health improves Iâm wondering if Iâm actually an extrovert with high social anxiety.
cognitive functions will go more in-depth on whether you fall under introversion or extroversion. If your functions lean towards the extroverted types, then you might be an extrovert who experiences social anxiety.
I grew up with social anxiety too. I learned to manage it better as an adult but oof... the amount of physiological reaction I would experience from social interaction as a kid was intense (a pit in your stomach, rapid heartbeat, sweating, etc)
He has already Iâm pretty sure
I'm definitely an extrovert (ENFJ), however, when my mental health takes a dive I don't want to be around people. Or I can only take so much of people because they drain my energy. When I'm healthy, I gain all my energy from others. Meaning, I could stay up all night if I have a group of people surrounding me. So, anxiety and depression seem to switch me from extrovert to introvert.
yes please
Relatable
Awww it's nice to hear "Hello my frisky ponies" again from you â€ïžđđŠâš
Oh so thats why I have so much anxiety. This explains EVERYTHING. That and me being an INFP-T explains ALOT about me tbh omg
My three daughters and I took the 16 Personalities test this week, and the results were interesting. (Although, I gather from what Iâve read/seen on here that itâs not the same as the Myers-Briggs test. Iâm hoping that weâll all take the official MBTI test during the next week or so). The two youngest are twins, and they got almost the same result except one is INFP-A and the other is INFP-T. Having read what they say on the 16-P website, I think, âYes, of course. Itâs obvious now that someone has pointed it out to me.â Iâm looking forward to this video.
Personality is often genetic so it makes sense for twins to get the same MBTI code
I'm a Infp-A. Shame that the infp memes seem to be always be the Ts, almost like we don't exist. So what are we like? I would say we're the Advisor/good-luck charm in a friends group. Assertive but not imposing or judgmental with a chill demeanor . Which makes many personalities feel comfortable around us. Unfortunately this leads to random phone-calls in the night or being dragged to parties we may not like to go to, but we support our friends. At least this is my experience.
Iam infp - T đ
FINALLY another INFP-A. I was starting to wonder if I was the only one out there. What I've noticed in my friend group is that if a bad thing happens, my friends are usually the ones freaking out, crying and/or complaining about it, and I'm the first to accept that twist of fate and get everything back on track. It's weird that I'm the one to do that, since I'm not particularly pragmatic, but I guess being the only one that stays calm means that's my duty now.
Mee too I'm an infp A... I cannot agree more to what you said!!
Not that we don't exist, I guess infp-Ts are the ones more prone to go make memes about themselves đ Also, this is just from my mind and I have no evidence for this at all, but I somehow think most infp are turbulents
OMG, more INFP-As exist! đ¶
I'm an INTP-T and I could not agree more with the "Turbulent" definition of the MBTI to be honest.
Same!
I'm also intp, and 90% turbulance lol. It's so hard for me.
Me too :â>
I got INTP-A anyway
@@marsaqurratuain1509 Same. Also agree with mine 100%.
When your 90% assertive.......and an infp......somethings not quite adding up but I think it makes just little more sense now. Cause people are like INFPs are too damn sensitive and I'm just like đđđ
Neuroticism is one of the most important distinctions coz when high it can make hell out of your life, and your relationship no matter what other letters are. Luckily that can be moved up to "normal" by a good therapy. It's a matter of emotional maturity and stability of each kind of personality. And that can influence your interaction with others even more then just what their mbti preference is. So I'm actually glad those letter are there in the test.
Can I also add that Assertion/Turbulence can change throughout our lives and the decisions we take. Some times of my life, after I've made some good decisions, healed broken relationships and jumped into something new, I've been much higher in the A trait. Other times, often based on our environments and the general state of the word, Turbulence can rise again. It's essentially your mental health. Some people's are generally low, others are generally high. But it can fluctuate hugely based on our choices and situation.
Thatâs why I got INFJ-T during depression last year.
I am INTJ-A, I confirm it change depending of our mental health.
I definitely agree

As an INFJ-A I donât necessarily think that we canât get anxious about the future or not get upset by someone, it all boils down on how you handle those emotions effectively and healthily.
I don't think it's suggesting that one does get anxious & one does not, it's more of an inclination. I walk into a room & immediately assess threats. It's not that I fall apart over them, but I'm very aware of them. Same with ways a situation could devolve or negative things a person might be thinking. It's an awareness that helps me better prepare for worst case scenario. I fell pretty far into the T category. I figure people in the far A side just don't view the world in that way - they can obviously still get nervous about stuff (they're not a robot) & they may handle it well or poorly, but that nervousness, that anxiety, that cave-manesque hyper awareness is not something they encounter as often.
That's my take anyway
Agreed. I used to get Assertive and 30/40% neuroticism. After learning how to handle emotions better and be less reactive I went down to very low neuroticism. I feel like the barrier to unsettle me is pushed further down and I take preventative measures to not let a situation explode too.
No wonder why I prefer the friends that are assertive over the turbulent ones.

INFP - A here and he made sense. Assertive people can be positive in weird situations as well. I naturally am anxious but I tend to be positive no matter what, its weird. Most people I know are turbulent. The guy I'm talking to currently, is an INFJ - A and assertives are positive most of the time.
I tested T and I am a realistic optimistic person. Always have been. If anxiety stops you from doing what you would like to do, then it can be problematic. According to the polyvagal theory, in stressful situations I would freeze up or run away. I much prefer to cultivate a sound social engagement approach to life. I still struggle with asserting my well thought out views as a way to avoid conflict. Having an ESTJ boss has been a blessing in disguise, my skin is getting thicker. Sheâs great overall đ

Very informative! Thank you!
As someone who went through abuse and and now has complex PTSD, the neurotic category isn't going to always be accurate to describe someone's personality. If you experienced trauma/abuse, a common reaction is for the brain to become more vigilant to protect you from further trauma. If this happens at a young age, it can be virtually impossible to separate that neuroticism into what was developed due to trauma and what is someone's personality
Thank you Frank now I know why I feel big relief after social events. i always see myself as an earthquake or tsunami surviver

i took the test and got INTP-T. 89% turbulent and 99% introverted are my highest stats. that sounds bad but i think it sums me up pretty accurately.
I took that test earlier and I got the INFP-T and the description was pretty spot on. Even if those two types are not considered a standard, it doesn't matter much. What matters is that it can help people figure out stuff about themselves, especially if they have a hard time defining their personality (and that they care about it).

I test as an ENTP-T. I test ENTP on other tests too. I always thought that thinkers were less sensitive to emotions, but I now realize that I am sensitive but extremely logical at the same time. I always govern my life by logical decision, but that doesnât mean that I donât experience and even react to the feelings.

Great video! I see the A as a result of being "in the flow" and the T as a result of being "in the grip". I know they're not intentionally related, but they are connected in my mind.
Great info.
The differentiation of T and A feels like the difference between whether I have been eating sugar or not. I feel way more turbulent with sugar in my system, then when I've gone without for lengthier periods of time, like 3 or more days. Without sugar I feel as stable as a rock. With sugar I'm riding the high seas, and I've learned to be more aware and tapped into these differences in my day to day.
Yes I can relate, sugar also wipes out magnesium which is scarcely sourced from food alone, it was in soil decades ago. And with low or no mg, whole system goes off balance
This has finally cleared some things up for me. I'm introverted, but not anxious. I was always curious why some people equated the two. So a person can have a personality type and be assertive or tumultuous. The assertive types may not experience much anxiety, while the more tumultuous types will experience anxiety. Isn't that something therapy could help with? I'm thinking anxiety cannot contribute much to quality of life.
A small amount of âanticipatory anxietyâ can motivate you to be extra diligent in your preparations, therefore helping ensure success. But, too much anxiety and you become a non-functional mess!
Have you seen FJs video on the four types of introverts? It has nothing to do with MBTI but does break introverts into four types where one of them is anxious so I think people use an association fallacy... one is so all is kinda thinking.
Thanks for explaining this, I've never truly understood the A or T part.
