ill never forget when floyd mayweather was dissing hella people and he dissed 50 cent (where the meme of him being confused about why someone is mad at him comes from) and after that 50 said "if you could read 1 page from a Dr. Seuss book ill donate 50k to any charity you want", and he never aknowledged it bc we know damn well 50 would just be paying to watch a grown man struggle to read a kids book and it would have been gold đ
its so much worse than i remembered. it was an ALS ice bucket challenge where 50 says he'd donate 750k not just 50k and it was a harry potter page but there was a second video where he says he knows floyd cant pronounce the words so his people changed it to Dr. Seuss and he said they would be able to put it on tv if he wants to đ

i've watched this video so many times. going through a hard time rn with struggling in my sport. a lot of negative talk has been said on my name from players and teammates. they beleive i shouldn't be on the team im on and i'm not that good. Everyday this happens and it has carried over to my game. i've made errors and been to uptight bc of what people have said of me. I've watched this video and multiple videos and they motivate me to become better. Like it said legends are defined by their successes, their defined by how they bounce back from their failures.
Edit: This still happens but i've continued to grow and learn how to channel their talk or doubt to motivation either when practicing or in the weight room and I think thats and important thing for any athlete to learn.
Edit: the struggles are back again. I made a high team as a freshman in highschool this year and this caused some hate to be thrown down on my name again. It's starting to get really hard to brush it off because i'm only a kid after all. We have our first game coming up and I don't beleive I'll start. His mindset in work ethic is what i model myself after and like every professional athlete has said, there are a lot of hard times.
