I found it surprisingly tricky to find metallic paints that are actually metal colours. I love this little set. Here is the link: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...
That is an adorable little set of paint! I like seeing them on the tan and black papers, they show up so nicely! So impressed that you’ve stuck with your plan and only used a single palette of paint all year!!
Csy is my favorite brand of metalics. You made a fine choice. Fine choice indeed. A great many ppl pretend it isn't good because they don't believe it's hand made. As if that makes a hill of beans of difference. Well it does I guess. It means these are exceptional quality that never run out of stock and can buy more any damn time you want without it costing an arm and a leg.
That little box looks so handy. I wish I had picked more realistic metallics when I bought mine. Instead I bought pretty colours, and though they are pretty, I rarely use them. I use gold and that's it 🤦🏼 I have also missed a silvery one the times I reach for metallics. But I gave pretty greens, blues and pinks that I don't know how to use. But they are pretty. 😂
I imagine the "pretty" metallics would be great for decorative crafts, like card making, colouring books or even decorating your own wrapping paper, but not so practical for sketching the real world. The cheap set I bought has some pretty colours so I will keep those as well but not sure when I'll use them.
I also have one of their metallic sets. Fun! Thanks ❤️

These delightful paints look so lovely, Lora. I’m partial to a spot of metallic sparkle ✨✨✨

I have several of their sets and love them. ❤😊
Likewise. They are my favorite brand of metallic paints.
Thank you so much for swatching these. I have been looking at them for months!❤
I’m so glad it helped to see them. They seem lovely paints to me (although I don’t have much experience with different paints)
That green/brown chameleon is quite interesting.
We are waiting for your next paintings with them!
Yes, now I need to find some metal to paint haha

They are bold. Metallics should be pre-wet for the largest impact. You'll see.
Thanks for the tip!
You need to wet them and let them soak a little then use them
Thanks for the tip
