Tav speaks when you approach the gith alone or when the companions are to far away. She/he gets 2 dialogues, one if you are under lvl 5 saying it's foolish to fight them and one if u are lvl 5 or higher, saying the opposite. Seems like gith also has a different one
I'm surprised they recorded tav's voice for this event but didn't think about a bit more dialogues for important events like the final speech before start the zone of the last boss or other pretty important events.
Tav used to be voiced but they removed it to make them a mostly silent protagonist. There’s still some left over voiced lines that made it through whatever they did to filter. There’s one of Drow Tav talking about the underdark in Act 2, and Tav talking if they get the goblin party and then kill all the goblins who attend that I’ve seen.
@@waimarieheap5608and when you help Astarion kill the hunter, Shadowheart says something like “I’m surprised you sided with Astarion” and Tav says “hope it doesn’t come back to- **bite** me”
@@clorby22 I’ve never seen that! But I love Tav dork moments. My fav has been the work in progress toy bear in that basement and Tav goes “I’m sure they’ll finish in no time if they **bear** with it.”
There are so many race/class specific dialogue options in this game that it’s crazy. You’ll have to play through BG3 several times to get the full experience
I did this but using Shadowheart changing form spell, bc Laezel left my party, and if I goes near, they attack me,so I quickload before it, switch to Shadowheart and use that spell to transform her into a Gith, and I passed the checks in the dialogue, and they left Laezel so I could ask her to join again still on my first run before act 2
Both are fantastic. Gith gives you so much as a race but then there’s a bunch of items that only work if you are (or are disguised as) a gith. That legendary sword alone is worth it. But half orc is easily my 2nd favorite for what they provide. Half orc paladin crit hunter is a fun build.
play any race that feel suits you, that's the point of role playing. But if you want to play for the sake of gameplay then choose race that benefit to your class. For example: half-orc benefits more in paladin class because that class hungry for critical hits and half-orc hit WAY harder than any other race. But it is up to you.
I know that other companions can speak about the gith creche also, but I'm not sure how to get the dialogue to trigger. Am I approaching them wrong? I usually start from wakeens rest where that tiefling is watching them up.
@@NovaG0 that’s what I’m hoping for! One on hand the no dialogue makes it’s really feel like the person you are talking to is actually responding to you and not tav. (I believe gale is telling me he loves me and not tav) But on the other hand, it feels disconnected when I’m not feeling Tavs emotions in their words.
Tav speaks constantly in the game. “Cursed to put my hands on everything” “Here goes nothing” Like everyone should have some of these voice lines burned into their head 😂
I dislike Voss. He talks about killing and being noble, but he goes graveling and begging to Raphael like a dog. I've killed him 9 times out of my 10 play throughs.
@Famaslu Actually, they didn't. Common misconception. The Norse adored jewelry, and the more important and powerful you were the more you wore, regardless of gender, but we have almost no earrings or other piercings from Norse graves, and what few we do are in styles from different regions, indicating that they were brought in from somewhere else, either via trade or raiding. That said, tons of other warriors had piercings, and I disagree with the statement that it's stupid for a warriors to have them, though ideally you'd want them to be in places that can be covered by your helmet, and/or fit closely to the face so they're less likely to get caught on things, so I'd say the ones shown are reasonable

I wish they had more cutscenes of your main character talking...at least for important events. It looks so good.

As a Tiefling, I passed all his intimidation checks and he kind of respected me for verbally headbutting him.
I was confused when I provided him an artefact. He ssid : 'It can't be' went on to a drafon and flew off... 😅😅
Well it has a narrative reason.
Voss is actually one of my favorite characters.
Your vanilla Gith Tav is really pretty!
Thank you!
It's crazy how much hair carries in terms of looks.

Yeah he speaks in act 1 a lot. People say Tav is a voiceless character but nope. He or she reacts to things.
Its just finding them xD
Man I played as a Gith and never got this interaction. Probably because I let Lae'zel speak instead?
I went in by myself but my companions teleported there xD
@@NovaG0 Ohhhh, that makes more sense lol.
i think this happens when you try and hit them up before level 5. all tavs speak when you try to do that but this dialogue is a touch different.
Im debating whether i should play as a gith or a half orc
Just play the race that you really want and install a mod that adds half-orc's critical modifier to them
Half orc really do be critting

I’m not sure myself as I triggered this by accident
what if you say you have it? will he still attack you or just say "go give it to inquisitor"?
someone said he just flies off. I'll give a go later
He attacks you saying you've fulfilled your usage or something.

Actually Lae'zel... traveling with you invokes it still. Especially if you tell the truth 😮💨
Lae'zel making it worse
Gith women are so priddddyy
This makes me annoyed. The one issue I have with BG3 is the almost zero of actual dialogue tav has.
I feel they missed out on some scenes, especially if you play Dark Urge. Who knows, maybe a modder will add them?

I agree, he is hot! And terrifying at the same time tbh, also Vegetas hair makes it better
Githyanki look really old, and it's more noticeable on the men. So I guess they can be hot if you're into dystrophic octogenarians

Having so many facial piercings is stupid for a warrior. If they really wanted them then they could have them, but they would not be intact like that.
who cares bro it's a fantasy game
didnt the vikings also have piercings?
you could say that about so many other things. @senmeii is right, it's a fantasy game and it doesn't mater.
Warriors also die or lose a limb when they are first touched by a blade without plated armor for protection. Yet here in fantasy it's possible.
