Glen Garioch 12 is one of my favourites, its just that little bit different to other stuff at the 40 quid price point and bottled at a healthy 48%
That dramatic ending was as magnificent as the rest of the video, if not more so.
Another great review Ralfy thank you 👍
Hi Ralfy ! I had a Glen Garioch 12 years old in my holidays on the german northsea island Pellworm last week ! Only me , the sea and a glas of this whisky 😍 ... wonderful !! Cheers , Chris from Bremen / Germany
Thorough research!
Founders reserve and 12 are great value. Will keep an eye out for this guy
Great video as usual mate 😀👍
Fantastic! Hope I can find a bottle.
Didn't try this one but Glen Garioch has some really awesome bottlings.
The look and R's description reminds me of a mid 2010s Tobermory
Benromach would by my shout for a Speysider that seems more in the Highland style.
I really enjoyed your review driving into work. Glen Garioch don't do many Ex-Bourbon cask releases so it's great to come across a review of one. This release has been on my radar for a while and I have almost bought it a few times.
Hello Ralfy 👋
One more taste before the malt mark! 😁
Love Glen Garioch. I find Glen Garioch needs time in sherry wood. Best word for Glen Garioch's spirit is fierce
Unfortunately this malt is as rare as hen’s teeth in the states. I’ve only seen one (nas) from them in stores.
Ralfydotcom, on one of your future Extras, could you please talk more about independent bottlers... I am new to this and really don’t understand it. Thanks
Anyone else come here from big Clives big button vid?
Ralfy, I wanted to mention a little blooper of yours I’ve discovered recently. In Ralfy review 828 you’ve stated that Old Perth 41 yo Blended Malt was the oldest whisky you’ve reviewed. And that’s not exactly true - Ralfy review 618 was about an independent bottling of a 46 yo Glenburgie.
Ralfy, will you be reviewing glenallachie 10 cask strength? Is it worth a try? I love the 12 and want to explore further.
