I really love Black Souls and I am glad this old game is now recieved love from Vtubers. This is one of RPG Makers legendary games and I hope Tenma plays more of them
The countdown and Mega Flare make me think of fighting Bahamut back in FF4. He would countdown from 5 before nuking the entire party with a Mega Flare, so you have to put reflect up on everyone before then to live through it

She needs to do a good amount of unavoidable damage to the boss. Atleast last time I killed it, it was from that. With the crit ring and a good weapon, it's not hard to do.

Final Fantasy XIII had the Doom spell, so yeah, I know to make haste with my attack if something's not right.
I thought the strategy to this boss was to cast either auto-res or endure on yourself once every 5 turns, seems a lot easier to do it that way

I loved the whole chat spamming the countdown on the first attempt, that stream was frustrating progress wise but comedy gold in every other aspect
I like how the boss is so fast that sometimes it gets two turns to her one, making the countdown go by twice as fast as it's supposed to, lol.

It's a dps filter, if you can't kill him chances are you are underleveled for the real endgame. i wouldn't call him a superboss tho.
