Watch Dogs series as a whole is underrated! I prefer 2 slightly over Legion, but Legion is really good. I've never been to the UK, but it was fun to play a map outside the US for a change.

definitely love legion, but I do wish they had more variety of weapons or had a feature where you could bring along other operatives to fight with you
Yeah it's such a waste of a game because of just this. Paywalled for an ak47 you'll die with online due to server issues
No lie being able to take one or two operatives with you would have been tight not gunna lie, but would have been hard to implement due to them potentially not staying Stealth, or hacking wonky things
I love this game. The best character I had was a construction worker. He had he's own flying machine, nail gun and hatchet

Legion isn’t the greatest game ever but it’s not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It’s a fun game
100% agree, it deffo has some issues which I address in the ‘playing legion in 2023’ video. Maybe I will make a full video on the issues and what could have been done better in a future watch dogs to potentially rival GTA 👀

This is literally the only thing that drew me to this game was it being set in London, just like you said it felt nice for once to have an open world game in my country and a place I’m fairly familiar with, personally it makes it more immersive even tho I still know los santos better than London lmao.

I wouldn't say watch dogs legion has better hacking than the former titles. There's no blackouts, no options to counter the police response, world environment hackables are seriously downgraded, but at least we still have the vehicle hacks
Being a futuristic game, maybe it would have been cooler if the cops were robots who we could later hack and use to our advantage.
Yeah, this game was and is so underrated. First time I played, the 1st one, was fascinating. An open wold game where you could so much was rare back in the day. There were a bunch of games that were interesting to play. I remember the 1st prince of Persia, deus ex, prototype, 1st mafia, hitman. etc.
I haven’t played in a year or so when I came back the other day and found out you can customize your appearance like the hair tattoo etc. got me exited to play again

I got this game for Christmas thinking it would be a good game and it lived up to the hype it’s brilliant
Definitely gonna be remembered as classic for its game play. The recruit any NPC feature makes takes this game to whole new level and adds repeatability.
I loved all the watch dogs, great games that are completely different like what you said👌
I don’t care what anyone says, I genuinely enjoyed this game for what it is. Yeah the dialogue animations and voice acting are kinda cringe due to the fact the npcs are randomized and sometimes their faces don’t match the voices, but to counteract that, it’s ideal to find an npc that fits both the voice and face and have him as your main character through the game. If you have the Bloodline dlc, just choose Aiden as your main character in campaign mode and it will feel like he is the main character in Legion. The story and gameplay are ok (8/10 for me). The Bloodline dlc and the Assassins Creed dlc was a great addition to the game that made the story even better. The online missions are challenging and best to play with a team who know what they are doing. This is a game I find myself coming back to like once a year.
I’m playing on ps5 in 2024 because it’s free to play with my version of ps+. I bought watchdogs 1 & 2 on Xbox when they came out and I liked both of them, so it was easy to get into. It’s one of those games where I can just relax and play. I enjoy the conversations sometimes, and I skip them other times, and all the mechanics feel really solid in my opinion. Also the operator system is really cool. I’m being very picky about who I want as an operator and make sure their job, age, and gender somewhat make sense. I just started the game 3 days ago and I’m excited to finish it. It’s a great way for me to escape life stress that recently became so much worse for me at 21 years old. It helps me feel less trapped. But hopefully that’ll become less of an issue when I get my degrees and start my career. This was a long, weird comment… I know, but thanks for reading. I wish you good luck in all aspects of your life 👍

Used to go there to play Street Fighter 2 in the 90's it's still there today but no SF2 arcade😂

Picked this up today for £5 I didn't love it first time around but I actually loved messing around in this game and it has so many funny moments and is just an absolute laugh.
I still playing the Watch Dogs Legion. I love gameplay , London map and vehicles.

I just started this and enjoying it only nitpicking issue I have is I wish I could customize the crew more it's some time to find the right traits or looks or voices all in 1 but after updating its a little less annoying and they added more options 😁still fun and enjoying it alot never played a watch dogs game but I have played other ubisoft games.
I really thought your operatives would leave your team or become your enemy. If you took out their relatives or friends but they don't that would have been a cool consequence if you did something like that.
That would be cool, but at least when you make an NPC mad by injuring them or something, they kidnap one of your operatives and I found it really cool when I found that out
Legion was underrated but to be honest... 1 felt the most lifelike ... Found UK map great but felt like you were roaming around with no one. Overall great though
what I like about this game is that, even though I'm not from the UK, but still from a member-nation of the Commonwealth, I get to drive on the proper side of the road, compared to parts 1 & 2!! hahah

I just got the Complete Edition on Steam during sales, and i finally have my Desmond Miles with his hidden blade working ( and with Desmond Clothes given with the Assassins Creed Crossover ), along with giving him a Silenced gun, a SMG, and Gunkata with combat roll. Peak gameplay.
Little curiosity about the game, it has cut guns like Sniper Rifles ( one lethal one stun )

I actually really like this game. Im playing it on hard mode and resistance mode. Its actually VERY HARD. And still very rewarding.

I only just started playing it last night, i like it so far, got me hooked! Randomly saw a spy while going around Westminster too without liberating it as im only a few hours in and juat been exploring lol used to live in London for about 6 years, nice just exploring places I've been to. Love it so far. Do agree about the no main characters and no connections between the people you use but its fun and i like it 😊
The thing i hate about this game is how hard is to get new weapons, I mean how hard was it for Ubisoft to add an underground weapon shop throughout the map from where players could buy weapons with tech points or ETO, ubisoft kinda over complicated unlocking weapons in my opinion. I think legion gets the hate it deserves.
You obviously haven’t played it long enough to understand you need to recruit players to get other guns. If that’s the only thing you said you hate about it then it shows this game is actually pretty fun

I literally completed the game twice fytb 😂, I've been playing it more and before you for sure, ofcourse I know you have to recruit agents to get new weapons but those weapons are limited to that specific agent, all I said was there should've been an underground weapon shop where if weapons purchased can be used by every character
@@S.P.E.T.S.N.A.Z yea those weapons are limted because it what makes them unique but if all you are upset about is that they don’t have an underground workshop then that means this game isn’t as bad as people say it is… I think people hate change and in video games not every thing is gonna have everything you want it will have most but their always will be a “I wish they had this in it or I was it had that”

I'm thinking about getting this game, because I wanna feel like I traveled to the UK. It's always been my dream to go to London as a kid, but my parents refused to go because it was "expensive" and would always drag my ass to Florida. Nothing wrong with Florida, but I wanna explore a new place when I go on vacation. Fast forward to today and going to UK and the rest of Europe is twice as expensive thanks to inflation 🙃.
Also at 0:52 Watch Dogs Legion isn't the only sand box game that takes place in London. If you ever played Destroy All Humans 2, there are 5 maps to explore and one of them is Albion (a parody of London). You're welcome
I want to love this series so much but damn did they drop the ball with legion, I can literally think of 3 major updates that could improve the game so much.

First game was hated because it was downgraded but it has great story. This game however... they had changed every aspect every game design choices of game.
I thought it was fun but as an American the car chases were super hard trying to drive on the opposite side of the road lol. Can't imagine how hard it was for the Brits to do the car chases in GTAV.
I imagine the watchdog legion 2 or watchdog 4 should start reforming the dedsec group. At first you will recruit 30 players and from there you will choose 3 character who will lead the group. From there the 3 character will have a GTA5 like story where you can switch to either 3. You can still use the remaining 27 characters for side quest. But for the story to continue you have to use the 3 chosen character. The 3 character can either ask help from the 27 members to finish their story. You can either play as solo or coop with one of the 27 on AI.
Hope we get some announcements for watch dogs 4 soon cause They’s rumors that’s this series is over

If anyone is having trouble booting this up on Xbox, turn your console to offline mode and launch it. You can then go back online once you're in the game. For some reason it won't load if your consoles connected to Xbox Live??

Watchdogs is 1 of my favourite franchises, the level of detail ubisoft put into the cities makes them feel alive. Legion may not have been the best in terms of story or some aspects of gameplay but it offers the best multiplayer imo. Oh and it's set in London which feels super nostalgic. They should do a watchdogs game set in Japan.

I think I like it better because it’s free. But it definitely doesn’t deserve the hate. I got it a couple of days ago and it’s been so fun….haven’t even started the second main story mission yet.

Legion was a solid game to the franchise. Not a fan of the dark griddy atmosphere, but they made it work for this game.
Got it as a gift for 6 bucks also got the first game again which was one of the most fun games I’ve ever played

(no comments for watch dogs 2 coz i havent played the whole game but its gameplay is quite bright as far as i can observe through trial version)
fr Watch dogs 1 : its sooo good and hacking limitations makes it quite difficult in comparison with legion and i just loved watch dogs 1 story.
watch dogs legion : unique but its easy coz i completed 50% of storyline by sitting in a car and operating my spider bot and cargo drones.
Ok picked the game up a few days ago hated it at first slowly started liking it and now today im wondering why it has so much hate i think people who reviewed the game back then and people who just played it to play it didnt give the game a chance i think they didnt even beat the tutorial cause i hated the game then i slowly started getting fun operators to play as and started enjoying it idk how far i am in it just finished the 404 main missions but im starting to have a blast havnt even considered getting the dlc but i might if the ending leaves some to be desired

I think the problem with many open world games is boring playability. If we could have been an urban “ninja” / fugitive who constantly has to lay low from authorities and public - by traversing rooftops, alley ways, sewers, etc, then it would have been more fun (a modern day Tenchu if you will). Also, cat burglar missions on rooftops would have been great, but London - for most part - was just a large empty shell. That play as anyone mechanic _really_ left it an unpolished mess on every level.
The play as anyone mechanic serves as a disposable body system for me, I get who I need, and anyone else is a body to throw at the wall
@@guyman8742 To each their own, it’s just commonly agreed upon that none of the characters had any… character. We could have had a play as anyone feature via a decent character customisation screen. The play as anyone feature took up a huge chunk of the game’s time and budget, hence why it was left an unpolished mess.

Tbh I love watch dogs, when I got around to the 2nd I was addicted. When legions came out I didn’t play it cause of the cover art, the cover art made it look pretentious and I thought it was just a dlc

I’m keep it a buck watch dogs legion was good ( in my opinion) I’ve beat the game three times and played all the dlcs no it isn’t better than wd2 or wd1 but it’s definitely worth a try a lot of people hate on the fact that you get to pick whoever to be on dedsec, but personally I mess with the fact that you can add whoever and customize them but at the same time the game isn’t perfect in my opinion it felt a little rushed at drop and I think they should’ve done more side missions and main ones aswell as had Marcus be part of the dlc

London map sucks , San Francisco may had less mechanics but the location was really engaging especially due to the artistic factor
