Thank you, everything regarding immigration is done at the airport you arrive first when you get into the country even if you have a connecting flight in the same country. Make sure to have enough time after arrival before your connecting flight. I had 1 hour between mines and almost missed my next flight.

Do they use fingerprint confirmation of passport when someone land in U.S
I have issue with the fingerprint confirmation of my passport. I was given my passport with third party confirmation because my fingerprint doesn't respond when i was collecting my passport in Nigeria.
I asked the officers in the passport office and they said i am save.

Can you travel to a different state for accommodation for a week and later fly back to the state where your school is located,will it be risky at the port of entry?

Sorry for the late response. I have friends who spent time with relatives when they arrived and travelled to Louisiana when school started, so you should be fine.

Please I have a question if someone has a visa with a school in US but choose to go to another school in the US at the point of entry what i20 would you show them

Hi, you’d provide the current i20. I’d advise you have your admission letter as well. Also, still take everything regarding the first school just incase they ask for it.

Actually I take that back, it makes more sense to come in with the stamped school stuff that’s on the visa, then change your school after you enter the country. Please disregard my first reply. Thank you Bisola.
