Just thought I'd share this with my fellow Creampuffs, in hopes of spreading some much needed LGBTQ+ love and representation. Thank you to all the amazing people who was involved in creating this amazing series. It changed my life... thank you so much.
I cut the endings and made sort of transitions between vids and ended up with this sort of 2hr long movie/vid. Also, in the credits, I added Elise Bauman and Natasha Negovanlis' cover of Love Will Have It's Sacrifices by Soles.

My favorite thing about this series is how everyone is super gay and there's no explanation.
It's quite amazing isn't it? it's like their sexuality isn't even a thing to be discussed, or talked about/explain/argument/defend. It just is and their lives go on ^-^ ... so refreshing

It still amazes me that people do still watch this. Either new creampuffs or veterans coming back for more Carmilla =] rewatching it and getting all the good feelings back. @@annedichoso4635 Sure, the series is called "Carmilla" and it was made by KindaTV (It's uploaded in their channel.)
This is amazingly well scripted. It uses one set and a minimal number of actors plus there's a hell of a lot of action going on off-camera yet we're kept fully aware of all of it. Anyone who can script a show like this could totally write live stage plays.
Your last sentence, YES. That was my thought too. This is basically a staged play. They use a lot of the tools used in plays to engage the audience and add supporting events and info to the narrative. It's one of the things I like the most about this series.

3yrs late sorry but as both an OG Earper and OG Carmilla fan, I must tell you to watch The Carmilla Movie they made. Inexpensive, and it has our fave younger Earp sister as star ;-)
I’ve probably rewatched this series about 7 times. It never seems too get old. The acting is amazing, the plot is awesome, and the characters are the best! I am proud to say that I am a cream puff!🥰

The show does some solid call backs and the song is straight up lines from the book but it's a super loose interpretation
Case in point they really lean into the whole Victorian "lesbian=bad/temptress of good virgin girls" concept sooooo
This is my first time discovering this web series, I was just going to watch "The Carmilla Movie" but then I got curious as if there are previous stories prior to that and then it made me search and discover this. THANK YOU THERE ARE 3 SEASONS AND I'LL BE GOING TO BINGEWATCH IT before I'll watch the movie. And this is a good addition to my Wynonna Earp addiction.
P.S. - I saw the movie Almost Adults prior to these and I'm glad Mckenzie and Cassie from Almost Adults are the main characters here as Laura and Carmilla!!!! I'm so excited to watch this!!!

When I read Carmilla (the real one not one of the 10,432 stupid imitations) and found it has a lesbian motif it was no big deal because as a kid I eventually realized that my two favorite aunts weren't both really aunts, one was kin and the other was her partner. This was the 40s & 50s so of course they weren't out but everybody knew. I've had lesbian friends ever since, it's never been a big deal. Now here comes Carmilla again and all of a sudden it's a big freaking deal?! Hey people, it's a vampire story. The gay theme is peripheral.
Edit: The ending is delightful.
Exactly. I think the show does a good job at keeping the lgbtq+ stuff in the background. It's never about the scandalous fact that two women fell in love or the business of any of the queer supporting characters. Also: amazing about your aunts and your lesbian friends even since back then. It must be awesome been surrounded by such normalcy when it comes to the gay theme. In my opinion: that's the dream/goal.

OMG girls this show is amazing, I love goth tales especially the original one from the book but most of all I think this videos are super cool for young lgbti+ people to see it. The show it's funny, romantic e just a little bit scary. I'm probably too old for this (and I don't care, I want more!) but I think it's the perfect goth tale for teen girls 👭
It is quite lovely. The story is indeed romantic, thrilling, scary, with quite a spoonful of funny in it too. I love how it feels so light in spite of the "doomish" plot. I'm a bit on the "older" side of the scope as well but I don't mind and definitely let myself enjoy these treasures of lgbt+ content xD ... I'm glad you found my videos and even more so that you enjoyed them so much

Its hard for me to completely root for this couple. Personally I kind of like Lafante and Perry better. What did you not like about Laura's character in season 2 and do you think those traits were hinted at in season one?
I didn't like Laura's idealization of Carmilla as a reformed ex-monster turned saviour. Her rather fixed perception of black and white when it comes to good and evil, leaving no room for grey areas or levels, etc. I felt it was rather unfair how she'd condemned Carmilla for who she was in spite of her actions showing how selfless she actually became especially when it came to Laura. On the other hand she never accused Danny of being a "monster" when she actually killed someone, and not just anyone but the sister of your ex... wtf with that? ^^'
Honestly? yes. I think these traits of hers were hinted at in S1 but rather subtly and of course in classic Carmilla fashion: super fast-paced ^^'
If Laura were to remain stuck in this stage of character development... yeah, no I wouldn't be able to support their relationship. It'd be quite unhealthy to be honest.
BUT! (SPOILER alert!) there is vindication in S3... and the movie... hehe so if you haven't watched those yet, what are you waiting for? go go go! I've got the complete S3 on my channel as well xD
