- One of the prototype mobile suits produced by ZAFT as part of its Second Stage Series, the ZGMF-X24S Chaos Gundam can transform from MS mode into MA mode that is designed for high speed, high mobility space combat. In compliance with the Junius Treaty, the suit is powered by a battery but it could be recharged during battle using the Deuterion Beam Energy Transfer System. The suit also has a new form of Phase Shift armor known as Variable Phase Shift armor, and is armed with several CIWS guns, a multi-phase beam cannon, two beam sabers, two beam claws, a shield, a beam rifle and a pair of mobile weapon pods.
Most of the Chaos's weapons can be used in either MS or MA form, and the mobile weapon pods are similar to the TS-MA2mod.00 Moebius Zero's wired gunbarrels but wirelessly controlled and can be used by a pilot without high spatial awareness. The suit's MA mode was previously tested by XMF-P192P Proto-Chaos and although it is specialized for space use, it has no problem operating on Earth. A unique aspect of the Chaos' MA mode is it retains the full use of the MS mode's hands. Thanks to the high output thrusters mounted on the suit and on the two mobile weapon pods, the Chaos can fly in the Earth's atmosphere without using any extra equipment.

重力下ではドラグーンと同じく無理だよ。
ああでもポッドにミサイルとかスラスターあるから分離しなくてもという意味では確かに使えるね。
改良されたドラグーンでもエースパイロットクラスでないと扱いきれない。

This was the MS out of the 3 that would suit Yzak's piloting.
Sting Oakley gotta be one of the "best" pilots in the SEED timeline as he managed to fight toe-to-toe with Athrun.
Granted, Athrun wasn't really as focused or as passionate during his time with the Minerva, but still. With the Saviour being touted as as powerful and as capable as the Freedom, we could've at least had some screen time where Athrun kicks the Chaos' bum, but no, that honor is reserved for Kira and the Freedom.
Also, what a way for the Chaos to go out. Getting humiliated by grunt suits is crazy.

In the battle of endurance, freedom will still top the saviour. Freedom also has better armaments. But Saviour will get a little advantage if the battle was not on space due to better atmospheric mobility in its MA form.

Wrong choices made by the pilot. Murasame are mass produced, but strong teamwork and coordination has always allowed mankind to hunt. Chaos should have used DRAGOON to disrupt teamwork and take out one by one

3人ともかなりの腕前だったのもあってあの時点でカオスは詰みだった。
そのムラサメを難なく撃墜出来るセイバーがカオス相手にクルクル変形して遊んでただけなのホンマに情けない。

鹵獲機なのにドラグーンなんて一番調達し辛いであろう物を破壊されても普通に復帰すんの何なんと思ってたらキラにセイバー並にボコされても元通りで流石に草

The damn chaos ends while fighting grunts like barbatos
tbf to barbatos, it was after it got hit with a superweapon and it took out a lot of grunts before kicking the bucket... you can even say that the superweapon and pushing it to the limit when the pilot was barely alive killed it... Chaos literally did nothing and died to grunts
@@MechaXCorgi Don't underestimate grunts. Early on in this video, Chaos got sent packing by 2 Zaku piloted by veterans
Chaos made the wrong choice and allowed the Murasame to isolate and destroy him. Best choice would have been to use the dragoons to split them up so that the Murasame can't work together and then pick them off one by one, or engage in MA mode since he has better specs

普通のジャスティスの「バッセル・ビームブーメラン」と勘違いしてるな。
ユニウスセブン宙域での戦闘の時、アスランやイザークの連携攻撃に圧倒されてるシーンを見た時流石にヤキン・ドゥーエ戦役を戦い抜いた歴戦のエース二人相手には流石の最新鋭機のカオスやアビスじゃ部が悪かったなと感じた😅
※アスランやイザークがあの時乗ってた機体は一般機や指揮官機だったけども😅
ベルリンの時はまだオーブと地球軍同盟結んでましたよね？スティングからしてみれば友軍機であるはずのムラサメから攻撃を受けるという地球軍とオーブの関係悪化してもおかしくはないはずなんですがｗジブリールさんよくそんな所に逃げ込んだなｗ
その時にはロアノーク隊自体連合から切り捨て前提だから悪化もなにも無い状況だし

Wild guess is that the MS OS also contained schematic in case the engineers who's not familiar with the model can look into it and repair accordingly, and like UC, it's also likely they have replicator tech to easily fix stuff as long as they have the resources.
I mean they're basically the gunbarrel pods off the Mobius Zero and Gunbarrel Striker. Just gotta get the programming right.
It´s a shame that a Gundam so cool as the Chaos, was just destroyed without glory for him or it´s pilot, really in the previous chapter only one pilot and it´s Gundam die at the middle of the series while the others last to the very end
The trio of Chaos, Abyss, and Gaia never really made it to the end... And they're piloted by horrible characters.

Well the gaia that watfield piloted is a copy of the gaia. Not exactly the original suit itself.

My second favorite out of the trio it is a Transformable MS which is cool though the green is not my favorite I like it more and it’s prototype version that one is white I think the black equally could’ve worked very well but it’s OK MS it does his job well and yet it lost against mass production MS damn it deserved a bit more better
Give him some slack, he pilot a MS designed for outer space, he can't even use the dragoon pod.

Hmmm kind of wondering does the chaos have a AI system that in returns allows it to use the mobile weapon pod even if you’re not a coordinator ? I wonder.

the wiki said it more akin to real life brain-machine interface device. both natural n coordinator could use dragoon although having spatial awareness greatly increase it performance.

いちいち変形しないと使えない主砲、分離させると本体の機動性落ちるし2機しかないドラグーン擬き、、、
コンセプトが謎
汎用性や火力の面で見ればDESTINY3バカの機体では1番強い
毎回思うんやけど、アスランがいくらセイバーの適正低いにせよ、変形クルクルで舐めプするのはよくないぞ
アスランの技量なら、真面目にカオスやれたやろ
セカンドシリーズの可変型ガンダム4機体って総合能力は高く強く見えるけど、MA形態に戦闘能力を集約しすぎていると思う。
まぁそのせいで、MS形態だと足が止まったり動きが悪いから弱点になっているかなぁと。
4機の共通してMS形態で負けたし可変形態バランスが悪くパイロットの技量に左右される機体達だったのかもね。
だからカオスがムラサメ3機に負けたのは仕方なかったと思う。

なぜ身体中バルカンまみれなんや盾にまでピクウス付けて
レールガンとかリニアガン系ならまだ理解できたけどバルカンだと決定打に欠けそう
ドラグーンの量子通信がエネルギーバカ食いする仕様だから他の武装は発射にエネルギーを使わない機関砲系が多い。
それにしてもミサイルくらい積んでも…

ザフトはGATシリーズをパクったことであらゆる面で技術進歩したけど連合（というかロゴス）はこいつらパクってもなんも進歩してないの笑う
脚本の都合。ガイアのデータからワイルドダガーは開発された。
そこが連合とザフトの違う所😊
ストライクノワールのフラガラッハは、ガイアの技術&VPS装甲技術も転用してるぞ
描写されてないだけで連合も割とパクって進歩はしてる。

SEEDでは］ザフトが地球軍のMSを強奪」。DESTINYでは「地球軍がザフトのMSを強奪」。どちらも中国とおなじ『自分達で作るより火事場泥棒で楽して戦力強化』を考える。なんと愚かなことか(笑)
