- Who were Adam and Eve? Did they exist, is there a basis in truth? What is the true origin story of humanity?
THE story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is the greatest parable in the Bible. It is supremely important because it explains the real nature of our life here on earth. It tells us about ourselves and how we bring about the conditions in which we live. It is the textbook on spiritual and psychological anatomy. When you thoroughly understand the Garden of Eden story you will understand human nature, and when you understand human nature, you will have dominion over it.
This parable is placed almost at the beginning of the Bible because it is the foundation upon which the whole of the Bible is built; and all the rest of the Bible, to the end of Revelation, assumes an understanding of the Garden of Eden parable. Indeed, there is only one Bible section in front of it, and that is the basic first chapter which gives the fundamentals of spiritual demonstration.
The Bible is not primarily intended to teach history, or biography, or natural science. It is intended to teach psychology and metaphysics. It deals primarily with states of mind and the laws of mental activity; and anything else is only incidental. Each of the principal characters in the Bible represents a state of mind that any of us may experience; and the events that happen to the various characters illustrate the consequences to us of entertaining such states of mind, either good or bad. Some of the Bible characters, such as Moses, Elijah, and Paul, are historical figures.
They were real men who lived on earth and did the deeds attributed to them; nonetheless they represent states of mind also, and, of course, they outpictured different states of mind at different times as their lives unfolded. Other Bible characters, such as Adam and Eve, the Prodigal Son, the Good Samaritan,1 or the Scarlet Woman2 are, of course, fictional and never had an actual existence; but they express states of mind too, and always in a remarkably simple and graphic manner.
A state of mind cannot be viewed or pictured directly as can a material object. It can only be described indirectly, by a figure of speech, an allegory, or a parable, but, unfortunately, thoughtless people have always tended to take the figure of speech or the allegory literally, at its face value, thus missing the real meaning, because it lies hidden beneath.
The veil of Isis comes to be worshiped while Isis herself is forgotten. Another evil that follows from this course is that, since many parables obviously cannot be literally true, such people, unable to accept the authenticity of the story, proceed to reject the Bible altogether as a collection of falsehoods. This was the attitude of Ingersoll in America, Bradlaugh in England, and many others.
The fundamentalist, on the other hand, does violence to his common sense in trying to make himself believe that these parables are literally true, while at the bottom of his heart-which is the place that matters-he cannot really believe them, and so a dangerous conflict is set up within his subconscious.

This has triggered me. I left the Mormon church three years ago at age 53. As a woman and devote temple attender I watch the creation films they made and made ‘covenants’ because of the fallen Eve ‘having partaken and given of the of the fruit of the tree of good and evil to Adam’. Though this changed two years ago in the temple ceremony, previously we women had to covenant to submit/harken unto thy husband. I wondered where the atonement was for Eve and her daughters? Sickening. I was outraged under the surface till I finally left. So... yep this is a trigger. Maybe I can face it after some more time has past.
Janet, I highly suggest utilizing EFT (look up the videos here on CZcams) as well as "The Emotion Code". These 'triggers' are definitely scars that need to be healed. I was a part of many Christian 'cults' before I realized that they had given me a sort of 'PTSD', keeping me from exploring more, from forgiving them and myself for the pain and suffering that being a 'subservient' woman in the height of everyone else's uprising. This is the vision I received December 26th. I woke up 6am on the 7th day of a water fast and I grabbed the bible and read and wrote notes for 4.5 hrs and I had a page full. I found the rivers too. I have all this in old notebooks. Once I had everything on the page then I started trimming and after leaving the bare minimum on the page my explanation appeared. I drew my sword December 26th 2019. January 11th I saddled the white horse. I probably sound like I'm on a high horse too, but I'm not just saying it I'm showing it. I'm about to pull Excalibur from the rock. I'm calling it from the universe to step forth. This video delivered big time.

I believe it is allegory as well. If they're supposedly the only beings on the planet, their son fleeing to an "occupied" town/city seemed nonsensical to me, even as a child.
Also, things such as mysticism and magic could have literally gotten you killed if you ran afoul of the wrong group back then. An allegory, under that lens, makes far more sense as it provided a means to pass knowledge in secret... and keep your head attached.

I went through a phase of my awakening journey where I had to face the reality of that good and evil, things I myself could have and would have never imagined, but it still came up in my mind and I couldn't understand why. Today I am sure it was everything others judged me for that I "could" be based on their own beliefs whatsoever. It devastated me and took me a while to heal from.... I always thought the world was beautiful and good. Now, I don't give a shit anymore, because now I catch the judgement right away and it's always from people who don't appreciate people in their full confidence, self realized, ascended mastery embodiment, plus self care, self love... that's just too foreign not to be judged negatively to make it smaller so they can feel okay, people who are competitive or racists will always throw some evil shit at you too. We must know it's a mental sickness, automatic defense mechanism inherited and conditioned, so we can forgive them for thy not knoooow, u know. Eating the forbbiden fruit, believing in limitation is the fall of man and by it we are driven out of paradise and must remain outside until the false belief is relinquished. The law of harmony prevents the holder of a false belief from getting into paradise no matter from what direction he may try. For instance as long as you believe your body is material and limited and therfore subject to sickness and accident you can not have perfect health. When you know your true body is spiritual and eternal, perfect health will come.

Question: The explanation makes so much sense.I have always been wondering how can God, who loves unconditionally and is all knowing create two people that he knew were gonna be tempted by a snake to eat the forbidden fruit, which He created and put within their reach to see and touch, turn around and punish them.I have always seen that as sabotage from God's side and it did not make sense to me that He would created and then knowingly expose His creation to self destruction. However, if the story of Adam and Eve is a parable, when was the first man created?How do all the different races come into existence?

People are doing a great disservice to themselves to think that they have to jump on one side of the boat or the other. What if both are true. Already Shakespeare said that life is a stage and Dolores Cannon's work shows the same. So, wouldn't it make sense that God gave the entire 'story of life' meaning?
Also, what if Eve was actually the Divine Mother who incarnated as Adam and upon his death (R.I.P.), she was again as her celestial self...
I agree on this. We tend to over-simplify and in my experience down this 'metaphysical-rabbit-hole', the 'truth' is so inner-woven, with multiple layers and meanings, that there could be an instance of the Ananaki race who created humans and really did do gene splicing the way that Mathias Destephano states as well as to be allegorical in nature. Just like I believe that Jesus did exist, but he may have been full-on channeling THE God entity and is also a symbol for the imagination of the human mind...and maybe even a few more 'layers' on top of that! It's never as simple as 'this-or-that', since this World, let alone the universe, has SO many layers and depths and multiple meanings. When we trip upon a different, more 'in-depth' layer, we simple humans proclaim, "What a coincidence!" when it was, in fact, part of the overall matrix, the puzzle that is 'life'. I love how it can't be simply explained, because the magic of it all is so much more amazing than our 'black and white' explanation.

As long as I can understand, and Mauro Biglino is one who makes a good reference to it, what "they" did with this story of manipulation and Adam and Lilith and later Eve is NOT a story of human kind but of a specific group of people. I really enjoyed this. Jesus was saying that himself ...pointing at Magdalena when with his disciples.. she is the one God is pleased with, and after the Crucifixion he reviled himself first to three females? Maybe that’s why ( men sensed that) and in History many men tried to oppress women, as they where in eve of them, also frightened, frighten of their knowledge and strength. Women are not completely blameless either. To play small to not hurt men’s Ego ( my view) A good women I believe, is the most powerful of whole existence, on the other hand, find an evil mother is the most evil there is, because of the complete controls they have of their little Ones. But saying that , I also believe that all evil will turn to good( God).. It might not always look like it, but I can see, and sense, it’s looking good.
