It’s awful how people find terms, then change themselves to see if that fixes their own insecurities, not the other way around. To describe myself I use demi-girl, demi-sexual, and demi-romantic. When my uncle came out officially when I was 11, I didn't even know about it. Hell, I don't remember even thinking about such things at that age. These kinds of topics never came up in my family, except once when my sister and I dressed our brother up like a princess for a laugh. My dad got mad and told us to take that dress off of him. My friend has no problem with people being gay or whatever, but she does have a problem with children being indoctrinated, as is the case with her daughter. My sister is an androgynous lesbian. People have been telling her (her entire life) that she is "not" a woman and that she needs to accept herself. She is deeply harrassed by the LBGTQ+ community, and they are not okay with her being a masculine fem. I keep telling my sister that she IS a woman. Females are MORE than nailpolish and dresses. Women can also be masculine. Men can be feminine. A man can wear makeup and a dress, and he can still be a man. It drives me nuts. Let's expand our idea of what a woman and man is, rather than trying to put everyone into tiny gendered boxes. My sister has now started to see someone to find out who she is at 30 years old. 🤦♀️ I know she wouldn't struggle with this if she didn't have so many people calling her a MAN. It's DAILY harrassment. I'll never forget when she was 16, she shaved off her hair and started to cry. When my uncle came out officially when I was 11, I didn't even know about it. Hell, I don't remember even thinking about such things at that age. I was 12 or 13 when my stepmother decided to have a talk with me about it. These kinds of topics never came up in my family, except once when my sister and I dressed our brother up like a princess for a laugh. My dad got mad and told us to take that dress off of him. Fast forward to the talk about my uncle. Despite being a sheltered 13 year old who didn't even know what condoms were, my stepmother asked how I felt about hearing the news. I just shrugged and said it didn't bother me. That was the end of it. No need to go on about it. No judgement, no lecture. My uncle never went around making a big deal about it either. He was still just the same fun uncle he always was.
Children don't need all this brainwashing! They are kids! Just leave them alone! FFS, I wanted to be a boy all through elementary school and even through middle and highschool I hovered somewhere in the middle. Other kids made all sorts of assumptions about me, thought I was lesbian, etc. I wasn't. But no adults ever made a fuss about how I was dressing, no one commented on the fact that I was a rough and rowdy tomboy. And guess what? I grew up healthy and happy in my own body, fully accepting of the fact that I am female and also totally ok with how other people live their lives. I just don't like when they have to wave it in everyone's face all the time like bible thumpers do.
Fast forward to today, and kids not even hitting puberty yet are being indoctrinated into thinking that being gay, lesbian, bi, or having a mental health problem (gender dysphoria) or overly fixated on fetishes and making gender and kinks one's whole identity is "cool". Sorry, but when my 12 year old stepdaughter comes home saying how cool it is to be gay (when she is 100% straight and very immature and very far from ready to even be thinking of sexuality), then I know damn well this idea didn't come from her. This is something that's being taught to children. My friend's daughter has been lured into this cult as well, also starting at a very young age. My friend has no problem with people being gay or whatever, but she does have a problem with children being indoctrinated, as is the case with her daughter. They got to her while she was still in public school. Now it's just a trendy way to rebel against her mother, like goth and metal kids did back in my childhood. She dresses up like she's something other than a girl, even though prior to the indoctrination, she was a total girly girl (she doesn't get that from her mother).
My cousin's friend has a young teen daughter who is morbidly obese, just like her mother, no father in the picture, and she's biracial. Basically, she doesn't know where she fits. Black kids won't accept her because she isn't black enough. Her weight is a major problem and no doubt is the main cause of children shunning her. So, she found a way to "belong". Just become a trans boy. Success! Instant acceptance by the queer cult! Anyone who can't see this is burying their heads in the sand or they're a predator.

A person merely talking about what they are feeling could be validating to someone somewhere. I got in trouble in 89 when I was a freshman in university. The orientation weekend activity. An RA led an activity passing out their resume with all the preferences listed and personal information. At 17- I raised my hand and said, "It's against the law to share your personal life on a resume. Why do I need to say, hey, I Iike men when introducing myself. It is no one's business to share my bedroom life." At the conclusion, the residence assistant marched right up to my mother and screamed ,😱, "Your daughter is quite the troublemaker!"
