The worst gym ever. They literally let this girl get assaulted by another woman. She sprayed cleaning solution into the girls FACE while her husband stood YELLING at the girl. What did my bosses do? Canceled the GIRLS membership and band her... while the couple who are always bitching about people keep their membership. I've been spit on by a guy who made trouble all the time then got in trouble becuse I called 911 not the "non emergency number" well the guy was on drugs... literally had a crack pipe on him. He spit in my face and started reaching over the counter at me. Even other members started coming up to stop him. I was in trouble for calling the cops on a member who assaulted me. No. Stay away from that gym.

I cancelled my membership. They tried charging my card for this month and o called them again and cancelled and said until you put the women’s locker room back to belonging only to women I won’t be back

You can try your card company but likely they will say it was up to you to cancel before the payment is taken. The other people cancelled before the payment was taken.
Anyone concerned over feelings over safety has had too easy a life. Literally was saved by a security guard when he saw a man following me to the restroom. If it had been today, he wouldn’t have been able to stop the SA from going further. They can call me what they like but I’m going to strive to protect women as this lovely lady did for that girl.

My friend, who’s a man, recently canceled his membership ship there. … Because of a incident where a young lady went to an employee to complain about a man in the woman’s side, who continued to walk around for an upwards of 15 min naked, like trying to make everyone uncomfortable & see his junk. When my friend heard the conversation , he said that wasn’t right, the employee stated that they catered to exclusivity, what you feel you go by as gender. 🙄 ..

It happened at a Bally's over 15 years ago when my sister and I went in the locker room, a straight up dude was in their with a wig...we were very uncomfortable and changed in the bathroom

I cancled mine and I won’t go back. This happened to me and my daughter at our local plant fitness. It’s really scared my daughter and made me very upset. There was no woman in there with us that day. It was a man he even had his private area open for everyone to see. I went running to the service desk asking for help and they laughed at me. They told me I needed to be more open-minded and that legally they cannot run him out of there. I was devastated and I never went back. My husband was ready to flip out on some people. We were discriminated against our safety at risk that day. But they did not care about us at all. Only him and his needs were met. Absolutely awful. I’m pretty easy-going and I treat people with respect but that day showed me glimpse of the world we live in. It’s dangerous for women. Be safe out there and do what you need to protect yourself and your children

Speaking as a proud transwoman, you are correct that he is not trans. Yes, we do need to shave - hormone therapy does not delete facial hair - but we _HIDE_ the kind of maintenance we have to do. The thing to understand about transwomen is that _we want to be women_. Anything standing in the way of that causes us shame and pain. If you ever see a "transwoman" openly doing male things in public, it not a transwoman no matter what it verbalizes about the issue.

If I need to use a woman’s changing space I don’t speak, take my glasses off (I’m very short sighted) so I can’t see clearly past my wrists, go in, find a corner, face the wall and cover up so nothing is exposed. The glasses go on only when I’m exiting. So I see nothing and no one sees any odd part of me. And I LOOK like it fit in! Of course, if there’s a private changing space available I’ll use that.

The problem was that she took a picture of someone in the bathroom/changing area. That's clearly illegal. She wouldn't have been arrested if she had been able to get women in the room to defend the girl and tell the man to leave. They can take pictures and video of him leaving the private area.

I’m a straight grandmother. I’m so angry about what they have done to our kids. I have a close friend. She has a 12 yo daughter who has been very sheltered. As a trans person who hasn't had surgery yet, i find it pretty weird to even consider using the bath or lockerroom of the gender i identify with instead of the one that conforms to my biological body. I have had a friend who also identifies as male but has a female body get harrassed and assaulted for using the "wrong" restroom...so...yea...definitely will not be doing that anytime soon

The worst gym ever. They literally let this girl get assaulted by another woman. She sprayed cleaning solution into the girls FACE while her husband stood YELLING at the girl. What did my bosses do? Canceled the GIRLS membership and band her... while the couple who are always bitching about people keep their membership. I've been spit on by a guy who made trouble all the time then got in trouble becuse I called 911 not the "non emergency number" well the guy was on drugs... literally had a crack pipe on him. He spit in my face and started reaching over the counter at me. Even other members started coming up to stop him. I was in trouble for calling the cops on a member who assaulted me. No. Stay away from that gym.

It happened at a Bally's over 15 years ago when my sister and I went in the locker room, a straight up dude was in their with a wig...we were very uncomfortable and changed in the bathroom

There was no woman in there with us that day. It was a man he even had his private area open for everyone to see. I went running to the service desk asking for help and they laughed at me. They told me I needed to be more open-minded and that legally they cannot run him out of there. I was devastated and I never went back. My husband was ready to flip out on some people. We were discriminated against our safety at risk that day. But they did not care about us at all. Only him and his needs were met. Absolutely awful. I’m pretty easy-going and I treat people with respect but that day showed me glimpse of the world we live in. It’s dangerous for women. Be safe out there and do what you need to protect yourself and your children

Speaking as a proud transwoman, you are correct that he is not trans. Yes, we do need to shave - hormone therapy does not delete facial hair - but we _HIDE_ the kind of maintenance we have to do. The thing to understand about transwomen is that _we want to be women_. Anything standing in the way of that causes us shame and pain. If you ever see a "transwoman" openly doing male things in public, it not a transwoman no matter what it verbalizes about the issue.

So glad I haven't renewed my membership there. There were two reasons I signed up: they were cheap, and open late at night. I'm uncomfortable working out around other people, and knowing some dude could walk in while I'm changing is NOT cool.
If I need to use a woman’s changing space I don’t speak, take my glasses off (I’m very short sighted) so I can’t see clearly past my wrists, go in, find a corner, face the wall and cover up so nothing is exposed. The glasses go on only when I’m exiting. So I see nothing and no one sees any odd part of me. And I LOOK like it fit in!
Of course, if there’s a private changing space available I’ll use that.
They “said” that it was because she took a picture in the locker room and it was against the policy of the gym…As it should be…But they ignored the bigger issue of there being a MAN in the locker room!! The problem was that she took a picture of someone in the bathroom/changing area. That's clearly illegal. She wouldn't have been arrested if she had been able to get women in the room to defend the girl and tell the man to leave. They can take pictures and video of him leaving the private area.
If that was my sister or grandmother i would have tracked him down and taught him a lesson. He is clearly a predator & has no business in any locker room with a child let alone a women's locker room SMDH !

So how far into your transition do you have to be to use the bathroom? I don’t know the whole story so I could be wrong but this opens the door to banning people who are early in their transition form BOTH bathrooms. Because it could be dangerous for them in the men’s room wearing a bra. People have hurt people for less.
Why are you wearing a bra if you don't need a bra? Women hate bras. Trans women often obsess over wearing them. Don't you see the problem with that, the inherent fetishization in that? Leave the bra at home, and use the restroom that makes the least people around you uncomfortable. That's what women would actually do, so are they women or not?

I’m a straight grandmother. I’m so angry about what they have done to our kids. I have a close friend. She has a 12 yo daughter who has been very sheltered. She’s a little on the spectrum so difficult social skills. She has a friend, he first BFF really and now she thinks she’s gay. She’s TWELVE. Now, she may indeed be gay, I don’t know and don’t care. But she felt the pressure to pick a tribe basically. She’s never even had a kiss. She says it isn’t about sex, which at her age, that’s true. I told her being gay is about attraction to the same sex. You can love anyone. That doesn’t make you gay.
She ended up being so confused she became suicidal and had to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital. She’s TWELVE!
I’m seriously afraid for this generation. They are confusing an entire generation. 🤦♀️ 😢

Everyone who made, printed, bought, and pushed the gender books in schools fall under these federal laws but i see no one talking about the laws when they go to there school boards. I guarantee that if federal charges are pressed they would be removed. Look up Obscenity for Minors federal laws and read them. Unfortunately we have a Attorney General who does NOT enforce federal laws.

As a trans person who hasn't had surgery yet, i find it pretty weird to even consider using the bath or lockerroom of the gender i identify with instead of the one that conforms to my biological body. I have had a friend who also identifies as male but has a female body get harrassed and assaulted for using the "wrong" restroom...so...yea...definitely will not be doing that anytime soon
