I know this was over a year ago, but I can definitely relate! I always push myself too much. Last year I was riding on barely any sleep and had a pretty bad wipe out. I don’t know how or what I did. Rolled and heard a crack. I thought I broke something, but it must have been my helmet hitting the ground. Had a headache the day after and some pulled muscles, so I came away lucky. I can only imagine if I hadn’t been wearing a helmet…

I've been riding 20+ years, still trying to hit jumps and ride hard, but I have to re-watch videos like this occasionally because I still find myself just completely eating it on jumps from time to time, or over shooting landings or landing way too far back and having my board spring me out into oblivion where I end up getting injured. I'm definitely not the type to make it look easy, tbh sometimes I wonder why I keep boarding considering I suck so bad despite the thousands of hours put into it, but oh well!
