- As the murder trial against Karen Read began, ahead of jury selection, Judge Beverly Cannone read a summary of the case for potential jurors - and addressed the massive public interest in the case that's prompted protests outside.

Massachusetts needs to step up and make some arrests for jury tampering and harassment. Jury service has to be taken very seriously. People standing outside of the courthouse hunting down and approaching people demanding to know if they are potential jurors is absurd. Jurors must be free from intimidation.
Massachusetts thinks harassment is not a big deal.

It’s possible that I formatted the sentence incorrectly; but given it’s a brief two sentence CZcams reply, and not an APA style dissertation, I think I’ll be ok :)

Never. As a juror sitting in any trial, let alone a major one with national attention, do you want your identity publicly known?
@@OneStepBeyondu do you have some kind of point? They televised every day of jury selection for the Chad Daybell trial and managed not to show any of the jurors or disclose their identity.

I hate to break it to this “judge” but if she truly value the rule of law, she would’ve paid more attention to the absolute facts presented, and how they have been so misrepresented by the so-called prosecution.. by the way Judge Beverly… Karen and John did not go to his residence as you presented in your opening comments to the potential jurors. Unbelievable…? “Judge” does state 34 Fairway but later paints the picture that “had driven w/John returned to his residence later” (1:20 mark above) in her statement.. that’s not accurate. SMH 🤦♀️
