I have several toms tools but can't seem to relearn the newer ford f-150

3rd Option ( but requires FORScan ) - IF you buy your TPMS before you head to the shop - you can write down the hexadecimal code printed on the sensor itself ( I.e. 62E148A4 ), and then using FORScan ( Can/Bus ) and directly drop those 4 values into the 'configuration' under 'BdyCM' and then you'll scroll down and see the 4 old TPMS values. Change them here. You probably will have to tell the tire place where to put the TPMS's LF RF RR LR - I just marked my boxes front and back and this all worked like a charm for my 2018 Ford F-150 XLT. I hope this helps someone.

Good point I forgot about that. Another think to keep in mind if you go this rout is if you keep those TPMS codes, if you ever loose a tire or have one/more stollen you can use those codes to help identify those tires.

I know it’s been a year since you wrote this comment but I just changed my TPMS sensors, upgraded to the extended version of FORScan, and the only option I see under BdyCM is to enable/disable “AutoLearn”… I figured this meant I just needed to drive it, but that didn’t work.
I know there’s a mode in FORScan where it seems you can modify “as built” values in a database of some sort, but just looking at it, it’s not clear at all to me which values I should be changing.
Any advice for me? It’s maddening how all these videos purport to show programming, but only show relearning.

If u download forscan u can disable the tpms and don’t have to worry about the light ever coming on again

You didn't mention needing a scan tool until halfway through the video.

Sorry about that. Thanks for pointing that out. Next time if I make a TPMS learning video I’ll make sure to mention it in the beginning if it need one.

Is it possible to complete the relearn process without a specific tool? Just by letting the air out?

Yea I was all excited thinking I didn't need any tools till 2:00 in.

    That's a relearn, not programming.
