The Sequence is different on older models of the Dyna, this doesn't work on my 08 Dyna. Even the Owners manual says to do the same thing this video shows but still doesn't work.
How would I do this on an 07 Dyna Street Bob if I dont have the switch in the center?
I would have thought this method would work on the 07. Maybe google it. Sorry.
What year or series bike is this, in the last video I watched , the guy said

Not to doubt what you say, but I have tried this on my 2006 Electra Ultra and it doesn't work. Any ideas?
No sorry it doesn't work on your bike, apparently some bikes have a different procedure
Why wont a 16 cvo start w fobs after battery swap.... or lock saddlebags only aaks for pin that i dont have.
it's likely due to the security system being triggered. Here are some things you can try:
If the fob battery is low or dead, the motorcycle might not recognize it.
Default PIN: If you haven't set a custom PIN, it might be the default factory PIN. Check your owner's manual for the default code or contact the dealer.
Follow these steps to enter the PIN:
Turn the ignition key to the "On" position.
Hold the left turn signal button until you see "Enter PIN" on the display.
Use the turn signal buttons to enter your PIN. The left button changes the digit, and the right button moves to the next digit.
Battery Connections: Double-check the battery connections.
System Reset: Sometimes, resetting the security system can help. This can often be done by disconnecting the battery again for a few minutes, then reconnecting it and trying the start sequence again.
If all else fails, contact your Harley-Davidson dealer. They can help you.

I came home and tried it a few times and it didn’t come up. I do have a pin set. Does it matter if your bike has factory alarm? Can’t get my bike going lol

That happened to me and had to get the dealer to reset. Sorry.
So how do u start it from there? My husband passed and we can't find the keys to his 2000 or his 2012 fatbob.
Sorry to hear that. I think I would contact the dealer and ask that question. They may have to disable it for you which they can easily do.
Will this work if you don’t have the fob? I’m tryin to figure out why my bikes not getting any spark ?
Probably not. Take it to Harley and let them reset the fob and bike.

Would you happen to know if the security system on my 2009 Softail Custom will "forget" my code because the battery has been out of it for a while or will it fire right up as soon as I put a new battery in it?
No, mine did that also and the dealer has to reset it for you as far as I know.
Always use a battery tender if your ride is parked more than few days or if you drive short distances
any idea for a 2014 softail deluxe???

@@jameskappes9893 nope unfortunally i say get rid of it and buy a newer one. Parts will be more rear than common.
Little example
Camshaft crankshaft bolts not available, need new ones every camchain tensioner job.(or when you loosen them for what reason so ever)
Fuelfilter not available
Camplate not available if need new buy a se, s&s or fuehling know the costs
Cutsom airfilters only 5 different if you have luck they will fitt or else buy new housing with it.
Or go back to stock.
Tuning is also not really possible because of the magnetti mirelli.
Its very limited.

my battery of harley sportster went dead, i tried to jump it but my alarm started when i try to remove battery, now it's asking for a pin number which i never had a pin number what can i do to start my engine,i have my key fobs but i don't know my pin number
If you've never changed the code or pin the factory pin should be 11111. Or 12345 or last 5 digits of vin. If one of the last 5 #s is 0 use 1 instead.

Yes, you need the Fob to find the pin.

What do you do if you don’t have your FOB and you have forgotten your password?
Unless you put in your own password previously it should be the generic password I believe I mentioned
To retrieve your pass you needed to have your fob with you?
I see mentioned that the factory pass is 3_1_3_1_3 is this right?

Hey, is it true that if I take my bike to a Harley-Davidson dealer that they can connect my bike to a computer and the pass for the security can be read? I purchased a bike without a key, fob and the pass is unknown. It’s an insurance case. But they don’t tell me or provide any information. Now I am left trying to figure out what I can do to get my bike to start.

might mean a PIN hasn't been set yet. Follow the instructions in the owner's manual to set one.
On my 04 Harley road king I held the trip button on the side and turned the switch/knob to the run position at the same time and it popped up not sure if it’s the correct numbers but seems to be
