    You always give great attention to detail and your finished work shows. Glad to see you have what I think is a very slick way to "punch" a hole in the firewall.

    Happy 2024 Mark, and although my UK Cruzer has been finished a few years now, I still enjoy watching brings back the memories.

    I used a vertcal belt sander to trim my Slat and Flaperon tips. Works perfect and fast. Harbor Freight. i use it to round corners as well.

    I've never seen such a thing as these beautiful slats. My Initial thought was fantastic leading edge guards. ✌🏻👶🏻🚬

    Nice work Mark and happy New Year! I am about a year away from diving into my first Kit and your videos will be priceless.

    Nice job! A table belt sander would save a lot of your time. I would put the heater kit pass thru as low on the firewall as possible because my feet get cold before anything else and heat rises. Great videos, thanks.

      After a few scat fights you might really truly just want to be able to firmly grasp the scat with both hands while turning a hex head as opposed to a slotted one. Heating passengers toes may be a much bigger project altogether.

      I'm gonna use a water cooled engine, but with that Zenith valve I would make it cable actuated from a dash mounted lever. I'm not really ok with any of the exhaust shroud heater kits.@@anthonyrstrawbridge

      @@kenfawcett4006 I'm mostly interested in the business model; it looks great! Would you run the cable in the scat or outside of it?

      Definitely not inside. The flap valve should be in the cabin so it could be manually opened and closed in flight. More for safety than convenience.@@anthonyrstrawbridge

    Nice video Mark. Craftsmanship at its best. Happy New Year, Fly Safe and keep the videos coming. Really enjoy spending 10-15 mins on issues that I will be hitting in the next few months.

    Great video as always...so I have fallen for the super duty..its lsa and i like the useful load..im only 160 but all my friends and family push 250..doing the math i need to have the right plane..hence the super duty..question..what are the true useful loads?..you say your 200 so with full tanks whats the most weight you can fly with..how about your cruiser..you full tank and ??total..thanks..

    put the hole down low because hot air rises from the floor up

    Are the slats fixed in one position and the attachment brackets run through into the spars?
    * could you mount LEDs to the plastic wing tips with rivets (and back washer) before inserting into the wing?
    🤪

    • @kenfawcett4006
      @kenfawcett4006 Před 7 měsíci +1

      Yes they're fixed position slats unless modified. Wing tips with LED's? Sounds doable to me.

    • @kenfawcett4006
      @kenfawcett4006 Před 7 měsíci

      But I wouldn't rivet them.
